KEQUIREME“ 3.1 Materials. - Materials and parts shall be in accord- ance wit

10、h applicable drawings and specifications. 3.1.1 Scrap. - Scrap formed in kettles, pails, risers, and loading machines used in the pouring and cooling operations, may be remelted and reused; however, the scrap shall not be contaminated in any way and shall comply with all requirements for the grade o

11、f filler specified except for form. Scrap from floor sweepings, ventilators, and suction apparatus shall. not be used. 3.2 Parts and assemblies. - The parts and assemblies shall comply with all requirements specified on the applicable drawings and with all requirements specified on .applicable speci

12、fications. 3.3 Workmanship. - All parts shall be fabricated and finished in a thorough, workmanlike manner. The cleaninq method used shall not be in- jurious to any parts, nor shall the parts be contaminated by the cleaning agent. All required markings shall be neat and sharply defined. 4.

QUALITY ASSURANCE PROVISIONS 4.1 assurance provisions. - Unless otherwi.se specified herein or in the contract, the provisions of MIL-A-48078 shall apply and are hereby made a part of this detail specification. 4.2 Classification of inspections. - The following type of inspection shall be conducte

23、ractor shall submit for approval, inspection equipment designs in accordance with the terms of the contract. See section 6 of MIL-A-48078 and section 6.3 herein . 5. PACKAGING 5.1 Preservation and Packaging. - 5.5.1 Level C. - Preservation and packaging shall be in accordance with Dwg. 8830878 and 9

24、321539. 5.2 Packing. - 5.2.1 Level C. - The inert mine shall be packed in accord- ance with Dwg. 9321540 and 9321541. 5.3 Marking. - Marking of the cartons shall be in accord- ance with Dwg. 9321539 and 9321541. 6.
