SCOPE 1.1 Scope. This specification covers the requirements and quality assurance provisions for load

20、06 0358025 2 MIL-F-70808A (AR) 4.4.3 Testing. See 4.5. 4.4.4 Inspection equipment. The inspection equipment required to perform the examinations and tests prescribed herein is described in the “Paragraph/Inspection Method“ column in the tables starting with 4.4.2.1. The contractor shall submit for a

21、pproval inspection equipment designs in accordance with the terms of the contract. See Section 6 of MIL-A-48078 and 6.3 herein. 4.5 Methods of inspection. 4.5.1 Materials, components and processes. Compliance with all requirements of Section 3 of this specification shall be ascertained by current an

22、d continuing examination of inspection and test data to determine that all components (parts, sub- assemblies, and materials) have been inspected and tested and found to comply with their respective drawing and specification requirements, and that all specified manufacturing processes have been foll

23、owed . 4.5.1.1 Visual and mechanical inspection. The visual, manual, tactile and mechanical inspection and tests shall verify compliance with the requirements of Section 3 and 5 of this specification in accordance with 4.4.2 herein and Table I. shall be determined by using the following calculation.

24、 Density, g/cc = Mass in grams 4.5.2 Density of booster pellet. The density of each pellet (Height, inches) (Diameter , inches) (12.87) 4.5.3 Booster and lead output test. The booster and lead shall be assembled into an M745 fuze base assembly (11737030). A Government approved fixture shall be used

25、to simulate an M745 fuze explosive train. The explosive train shall be initiated remotely. Any assembly that fails to shear the witness block (3.0 inch minimum diameter of 2011-T3 aluminum) 360 degrees upon initiation shall be classed defective. WARNING: This test is dangerous and must be performed

26、behind a suitable barricade. 4.5.4 Air leakage test (see drawing 9381685. The sealed metal ammunition container shall be tested in accordance with the procedures of 9246386. 5. Packaging for fuzes with boosters shall be in accordance with the requirements of drawing 9347415. 5.1.3 Level C, Not applicable. 5.2 Packing 5.2.1 Level A. Fuzes with boosters shall

28、be packed in accordance with the requirements of dwg. 9381685. 5.2.2 Level B. Fuzes with boosters shall be packed in 5.2.3 Level C. Packing for fuzes without boosters shall be accordance with the requirements of drawing 9387416. in accordance with the requirements of drawing 9347415. 5.3 Marking 5.3

29、.1 Level A. Fuzes with boosters shall be marked in accordance with the requirements of drawing 9381685. 5.3.2 Level B. Fuzes with boosters shall be marked in accordance with the requirements of drawing 9347416. 5.3.3 Level C. Fuzes without boosters shall be marked in accordance with the requirements

30、 of drawing 9347415. 6. NOTES 6.1 Intended use. The Fuze, PD: M745 is designed to provide a means of detonating the M722 Smoke cartridge, 60mm, Lightweight Company Mortar System. 6.2 Ordering data. See MIL-A-48078. 6.3 Submission of designs for approval. See 6.2.3 of MIL-A-48078. Submit equipment de
