O REQUIREMENTS 3.1 Item definition - The second environment sensor electronics assembly (SESE) is mounted within a projectile and is usedj
9、n combination with two second environment sensors. The sensors are physically spaced a known distance apart, one aft of the other. The SESE, using the input from the two sensors, provides an electrical signal output. The signal is the second environment utilized in the arming sequence of the fuze sy
10、stem to assure the projectile has been safely launched. The forward sensor provides both start signal and power for the SESE. The aft sensor provides a second signal to the SESE as it exits from the gun tube. The time between the two sensor signals is used to detect projectile velocity and determine

12、 - Tne SESE shall provide either a “go“ (arm) signal or. - t “no so nor arm) signal, depencino upon the condition and timing of the input s.;sr,als. The Pl input signal will be a single pulse with a voltage rise from43 to 16 irolrs in.90 5, -0 microseconds and a decay to less than 10 volts at 100 +
13、10 nfcroseronas and will Se applied to terminals 1 and 2 with terminal 1 positive and terminal 2 negative. The 12 input signal will be a single pulse with a voltage rise from O to 16 volts in 40 + 5 microseconds and will be applied to terminals 3 and 4 with terminal 3 posifive and terminal 4 negativ

The “go“ signal shall occur within 100 microseconds following the application of the #2 input signal. 3.2.1.1.1 Go output signal - A go1 signal shall be a pulse which changes from less than+O.hdc to +4.Ovdc minimum with the voltage maintained at greater than 4.0vdc for 0.7 seconds minimum. This s
15、ignal shall be measured at terminals 6 and 5 with terminal 6 positive and terminal 5 negative. The signal shall occur when input signal #1 is applied 180 microseconds or less prior to input signal t2 3.2.1.1.2 No-qo output signal - A Ino-gol signal shall be a voltage of not greater than0.2vdc. This
16、signal shall be measured at terminals 6 and 5 with terminal 6 positive and terminal 5 negative. The Ino-go“ signal shall occur when the input signal-#l is applied 270 microseconds or more prior to input signal #2: 3.2.2 Environmental .conditions - Except for temperature testing, these conditions app
17、ly with the StSt mounted in a projectile or a simulated projectile. 3.2.2.1 High temperature - The SESE shall meet the performence requirements specified in 3.2.1.1 when stabilized at temperatures up to 145 E. 3.2.2.2 Low tem erature - The SESE shall meet the performange requirements specified -in *
18、tabilized at temperatures down to -25 F. 3.2.2.3 Acceleration hiqh g - The SESE shall meet the performance require- ments specified in 3,2.1.1 foJ1owing vposure to acceleration of 9000 +1500, -300 gs at temperatures from -25 F to 145 F. The direction of acceleration is shown in Figure 1. The acceler
19、ation time curve shall have no sharp discontinuities and shall remain above 8000 GIs for at least 1.5 milliseconds. 3.2.2.4 Transportation vibration - The SESE shall meet the performance requirements. specified in 3.2.J.l following exposure to vibration levels at temperatures from -5OOF to +160 F. .

23、dormance rgquirements specified in 3.2.1.1 foll.owing thermal shock between -50 F and 160 F in a one minute period. 3.2.2.8 Lateral acceleration - The SESE shall meet the performance require- ments specified in 3.2.1.1 following exposure to a shock load of 750 + 50 gs for a period of less than one m
