SUPERSEDING -e AMENDMENT 2. 15 December

3、1971 MILITARY SPECIFICATION CHEST: 10548700 This amendment forms a part of Military Specification MIL-C-50705(MU) , dated 11 January 1971. Paragraph 2.1, under STANDARDS, delete: “MIL-STD-810 ENVIRONMENTAL mST METHODS .I Paragraph 3.4.2, add the following: “An M18 Plotting Board or its equivalent in

4、 envelope configuration. and weight shall be appropriately installed within the chest prior to meeting the requirements of 3.4.4, 3.4.5 and 3.5.“ * Paragraph 3.4.4, delete and substitute the following: “IMPACT RESISTANCE.- The Chest shall meet the requirements of 3.4.5 and 3.5 subsequent to being dr

5、opped 3 times in its normal upright position from a height of 12 ik 2 inches onto a concrete surface of at least 2 inches thick, result of the impacts nor shall there be evidence of damage, such as openings along any joint; delamination, splitting, cracking or loosen- ing of Chest materials or compo

6、nents. finishes or indentations on body or cover as a result of the lmpacts is acceptable.“ The Chest assembly shall not become unlatched as a Marking or peeling of paint * Paragraph 3.4.5, delete and substitute the following: “Water- tightness.- The interior of the Chest shall exhibit no more than

7、two (2) ounces of standing water after having been exposed to a simulated rainfall as specified in Procedure I of MIL-F-13926. is interpreted to mean water that will run or drain off when the vessel . in which it is contained is inverted.“ Standing water Paragraph 3.5.2, delete and substitute the fo

8、llowing: Handles.- All handles shall function without interference. The supported load shall cause no separation of the handle assembly or result in any other damage which would impair the normal functioning of the Chest ,I1 Paragraph 3.5.3, Interface requirements, change first sentence to “The Ches
