13、sic testing at the end of paragraph 4.3.2. ltPre-test procedure for charge 8 ballistic testing-(a) Five rounds frein each lot submitted for ballistic acceptance shall be fired at approx. 1068 mls (or 60 degrees) quadrant elevation at th 30 second fuze setting. The five spotter rounds are in addition

14、 to the normal ballistic sample size. (b) The Proving around shall compute the mean burst height for %he five rounds. (c) Determine If the mean burst height falls within a 514/782 meter range for the five rounds. Adjust quadrant elevation if necessary to the above mean range of burst height and proc

15、eed to test the entire lot ballistic sample at this elevation. (d) Metro data consisting of air density, temperature and wind velocity, and direction shall be taken up to the maximum height of the trajectory for all of the pre-test and test rounds fired at both 4 and 8 Increments of propellants.tt P
