18、tinues to be the leading choice for theindustrial mechanical equipment practice, and is accepted throughout the world for all kinds of electronicsapplications. Among these are all major bus architectures, such as VME, CompactPCI, etc.This is why the Computer Societys Technical Committee on Microcomp
19、uters and Microprocessors found itappropriate to create an IEEE standard which further expands upon IEEE P1101.1 (D1.0, 1997) and the IEC60297-. series of standards, Dimensions of Mechanical Structures of the 482.6 mm (19 in) Series, IEC60297-3 (1984-01) and IEC 60297-4 (1995-03) for rear plug-in un
20、its.This standard is an extension of IEEE P1101.1 (D1.0, 1997) and IEEE Std 1101.10-1996 (submitted to theIEC) and denes the mechanical rear plug-in unit sizes and interface details.
