5、ensus, and other criteria for approval have been met by the standards developer. An American National Standard implies a consensus of those substantially concerned with its scope and provisions. Consensus is established when, in the judgment of the ANSI Board of Standards Review, substantial agreeme
6、nt has been reached by directly and materially affected interests. Substantial agreement means much more than a simple majority, but not necessarily unanimity. Consensus requires that all views and objections be considered, and that a concerted effort be made toward their resolution. The existence o

Scope Th
21、is standard specifies the performance requirements together with the test methods and conditions required to show compliance of self-ballasted compact fluorescent lamps up to 60 watts which are intended for domestic and similar general lighting purposes. Globe and reflector types are excluded. Such
22、lamps shall have a rated input voltage of 120 or 127 volts at 60 Hz and an Edison screw base. 2.
