The flash welding equipment shall be capable of consistently producingwelds which meet the requirements of this specification.3.1.1 n shallnot relieve the contractor of the responsibility of ensuring that all products or supplies submittedto the Governme

12、nt for acceptance comply with all requirements of the conmact. %rnplinginspection, as part of manufacturing operations, is an acceptable practice to ascertainconformance to requirements, however, this doss not authorize submission of known defectivematerial, either indicated or actual, nor does it c

13、ommit the Government to accept defectivematerial.4.2 pSOdUC. Each time a machine is set up for a production run according to aqualified w

14、elding procedure, the set up shall be checked by welding and testing three parts, orsimulated production parts, as specified in 4.4.4. Alternate nondestructive inspection proceduresI may be used provided that the suitability of the procedures has been established by destructivetests and approved by
