Unless otherwise specified in the con- tract, or purchase order the contractor is responsible for the performance of all inspection requirements as spec

The Government reserves the right to perform any of the inspections set forth in the specification whe

23、e requirements of ASTM D 3951.“ Delete paragraphs 5.2, 5.2.1, 5.2.2, 5.2.3 and substitute the following: “5.2 Packing. Packing shall be Level A, By C or Commercial as specified (see 6.2). Hoods shall be packaged in accordance with the applica- 5.2.1 Level A. Twelve boxes, containing 120 hoods (ten h

24、oods in each box) of the same size and packaged as specified, shall be packed in a box conform- ing to overseas type, Style A, Grade A, Type 1, of PPP-B-601. The inside dimensions of the box shall be approximately 19 inches in length, 19 inches in width, and 15% inches in depth. Each shipping contai

25、ner shall be closed and reinforced in accordance with the appendix of the container specification. Toward the end of the contract or when the quantity of hoods of the same size is less than the quantity required per shipping container, mixed sizes may be packed in the same shipping container. 5.2.2
