Scope1.1 This standard provides a system for designat-ing aluminum hardeners used primarily for the addition of alloying or grain refi ning elements or modifi ers to aluminum alloy melts.2. Alloy Designation SystemQ2.1 This system consists of fou
2、r digit numerical designations prefi xed by the letter H. The fi rst two digits identify the hardener alloy group by major alloying elementW Eas shown in Table 1. The last two digits indicate the sequential registration of hardener alloys beginning with the number H2X00 and have no other signifi can

5、a) the hardener is offered for sale; (b) the complete chemical composition limits are registered; (c) the composition is signifi cantly different from that of any other hardeners for which a numerical designation already has been assigned, where “signifi cant” is defi ned as:(i) A change of the foll
