3、zation) is a worldwide federation of national standards institutes (IS0 member bodies). The work of developing International Standards is carried out through IS0 technical committees. Every member body interested in a subject for which a technical committee has been set up has the right to be repres
4、ented on that committee. International organizations, governmental and non-governmental, in liaison with ISO, also take part in the work. Draft International Standards adopted by the technical committees are circulated to the member bodies for approval before their acceptance as International Standa
5、rds by the IS0 Council. International Standard IS0 5390 was developed by Technical Committee ISO/TC 118, Compressors, pneumatic tools and pneumatic machines, and was circulated to the member bodies in February 1976. It has been approved by the member bodies of the following countries : Australia Aus
6、tria Belgium Bulgaria Czechoslovakia Egypt, Arab Rep. of Finland France Germany Hungary India Korea, Rep. of Mexico Netherlands Poland Romania No member body expressed disapproval of the document. 10、 a shaft rotation. 3.1.2 rotary compressor : A displacement compressor in which the element is one or more rotor(s) operating in a casing, the displacement being effected by vanes, a meshing element or elements, or by displacement of the rotor itself. 3.2 dynamic compressor : A compressor in which t
11、he fluid pressure increase is obtained by transformation of kinetic energy into potential energy with continuous flow from intake end to discharge end. 3.2.1 turbocompressor : A dynamic compressor with rotating blades, wheels or impellers. NOTE - A “turboblower” is a common term for a “turbo- compre
12、ssor” where the effective discharge pressure is below 2 bar. 3.2.1.1 turbocompressor, axial flow : A turbocompressor in which the kinetic energy is transformed in essentially axial flow rotating wheels equipped with blades and diffusers. 3.2.1.2 turbocompressor, radial flow; centrifugal com- pressor
13、 : A turbocompressor in which the kinetic energy is transformed in essentially radial flow impellersand diffusers. NOTE - There are also mixed turbocompressors (in which the flow follows a medium path between axial and radial direction) and combined turbocompressors. 3.2.2 ejector : A dynamic compre
