17、terms specific to the textile industry.A high degree of conformity in the meaning and representation of specific terms is a prerequisite for compatibilityand efficient data processing between different machines and control systems.NOTE It is planned that parts 2 and 3 of ISO 10782 will deal with the

18、 fabric manufacturing and fabric processing sectors oftextile machinery respectively; however, no work has been started yet except the definition of the titles. 25、s of a bus system or communication network.Included in this part of ISO 10782 are data elementsof specific relevance to the user (superintendent,foreman, operator, maintenance personnel) in spinningmills. Terms related to data processing only areexcluded from this part of ISO 10782.Each data element

26、 consists of a term with attributes.A short explanation of the applied meaning is added.A reference number is attached for identificationpurposes. The attributes given in this part ofISO 10782 aim, as far as feasible, to unify thepresentation of the data elements and theirtransmission characteristic

27、s without unduly restrictingengineering freedom.Qualifications are given for the format at the inputpoint to transmssion of data retrieved by sensors.
