9、of both, including the duplexer, if used, in a mobile station (see 4.5 of IEC 489-1). 3.1.4 Portable vehicle equipment (types B and C) Mobile equipment which is capable of being operated both through use of the vehicles power supply and antenna when the equipment is mounted in a vehicle and through
10、use of its own power supply and self-contained antenna when it is hand-carried or worn on the person (see 4.10 of IEC 489-1). 3.1.5 Portable equipment (type C) Mobile equipment which is hand-carried or worn on the person and which is operated from its own power supply and with a self-contained anten
11、na (see 4.8 of IEC 489-1). 3.2 Electrically safe A part is electrically safe if it cannot cause a harmful electric shock or radio-frequency skin burn. The conditions for a part to be electrically safe are: either a) the voltage between the pari and earth, and also between the part and any other acce
12、ssible part, does not exceed 72 V peak when measured with an instrument having an internal resistance of not less than 10 kR/V; or b) the voltage exceeds 72 V peak but the following limits with regard to both current and capacity apply: - Where the current is measured in a non-inductive resistor of
13、2 kQ connected between the part concerned and earth or any other accessible part and where f is the frequency in kilohertz. 22、distance, measured in air, between two conductive parts. 3.5 Byhand The operation does not require the use of a tool, coin or any other object. 3.6 Accessible pari A part is accessible if it can be touched by either of the standard test fingers described in IEC 529. 3.7 Enclosure A space in which it
23、ems of equipment, that might be dangerous, are located and to which access is prevented except by routes especially provided, for example, a door or a removable cover plate. 3.8 Safety device Any part or component provided for the purpose of protecting personnel from possible injury. 3.9 Live pari A
24、 part which is not electrically safe (see 3.2). 3.1 O Supply mains Any power source with an operating voltage of more than 34 V (peak) which is not used solely to supply the equipment.
