20、PICES ASSOCIES - DIMENSIONS 1 Domaine dapplication et objet La prsente Norme internationale spcifie les dimensions qui sont importantes pour linterchangeabilit mcanique dune gamme prfrentielle de noyaux PM en oxydes ma- gntiques, les principales dimensions des carcasses associes utiliser avec ces no

21、yaux et les emplacements de leurs broches sur une grille modulaire de cartes imprimes relativement aux primtres dembase des noyaux. Elle spcifie aussi les valeurs des paramtres effectifs utiliser dans les calculs concernant ces noyaux. Lutilisation des normes drives qui donnent une spcification plus

22、 dtaille, mais encore conforme la prsente norme, des pices de composant est examine en annexe A. Les noyaux PM sont dsigns ainsi cause de leur ressemblance avec les pots et parce quils possdent des encoches permettant lutilisation des carcasses picots pour montage sur un circuit imprim modulaire. 23、s sont principalement conus pour une utilisation dans des applications dlectroniques de puissance telles que les alimentations dcoupage (SMPS), les transformateurs dimpulsions de puissance et les transformateurs large bande. Les noyaux PM sont aussi intressants pour les nouvelles techniques dalimentations A dcoupage mettant en jeu des puissances plus leves a des frquences suprieures 50 kHz. A cause de leurs faibles ouvertures, les pertes par champ de fuite qui croissent avec la frquence son

26、t beaucoup plus faibles que sur les noyaux de type E. La prsente gamme de noyaux PM comporte cinq modles, parmi lesquels quatre sont utilisables pour le montage direct sur carte imprime avec un simple trier en U. Lemplacement des picots de ces noyaux et leur nombre sont spcifis: ils sont espacs de d

27、eux modules et leur nombre varie entre 14 et 20. 28、PARTS - DIMENSIONS 1 Scope and object This International Standard specifies the dimensions that are of importance for mechanical interchangeability for a preferred range of PM-cores made of magnetic oxides, the main dimensions for coil formers to be used with these cores and the locations of their p

29、ins on a modular printed wiring grid in relation to the base outlines of cores. It also specifies the effective parameter values to be used in calculations involving these cores. The use of derived standards which give a more detailed specification of component parts whilst still permitting complian

30、ce with this standard is discussed in annex A. PM-cores are so called because they are derived from pot-cores and have cut outs permitting the use of coil formers containing terminal pins for mounting on a modular printed wiring board. They are mainly intended for use in power applications such as s

31、witched mode power supplies (SMPS), pulse power transformers and broadband transformers. For these applications the pot-core shape gives the advantage, compared with other shapes, of a relatively large cross-section with correspondingly high magnetic flux, which in turn permits windings of fewer tur

32、ns for a given power, with the associated benefits of low leakage inductance and self-capacitance. These cores also provide good shielding, easy mounting and enable precise air-gaps to be ground. PM-cores are also of interest for new SMPS techniques involving higher powers at frequencies greater tha

33、n 50 kHz, since, because they possess relatively small openings, the stray field losses which increase with frequency are much smaller than with any E-core type- The present range of PM-cores contains five sizes, four of which are suitable for mounting directly on a printed wiring board with a simpl

34、e U-bolt mounting. The locations of the mounting pins for these cores and their numbering are specified: they are at spacings of two modules and their possible number varies from 14 to 20. The largest core is too heavy for mounting on a printed wiring board, and neither the number or location of its terminal pins, which are usually located within the cut-out of the core, are specified.
