The text of this amendment is based on the following document

11、s: CDV Report of voting 2/1378/CDV 2/1400A/RVCFull information on the voting for the approval of this amendment can be found in the report on voting indicated in the above table. The committee has decided that the contents of this amendment and the base publication will remain unchanged until the ma

12、intenance result date indicated on the IEC web site under “http:/webstore.iec.ch“ in the data related to the specific publication. At this date, the publication will be reconfirmed, withdrawn, replaced by a revised edition, or amended. _ Page 7 1 Scope Replace the second paragraph by the following n

13、ew paragraph: This standard does not specify: degrees of protection against mechanical damage of the machine, or conditions such as moisture (produced for example by condensation), corrosive dust and vapour, fungus or vermin; types of protection of machines for use in a potentially explosive (dust,

14、vapour) environment. Page 19 8 Tests for first characteristic numeral Replace, on page 21, the final paragraph in Table 4, 5 a) Dust test, by the following new paragraph: The protection is satisfactory if, on inspection, talcum powder has not accumulated in a quantity or location such that it could

15、interfere with the satisfactory operation of the machine. NOTE No dust should deposit where it could lead to tracking along the creepage distances. 17、n, b) puis soumise un essai de tension de tenue sous une tension dessai gale 50 % de la tension dessai prvue pour une machine neuve (mais non infrieure 125 % de la tension assigne). Dans le cas dun essai effectu sur une machine en marche, la machine est seulement soumise lessai de tension de tenue c

18、onformment au point b) ci-dessus. 19、d. 1 IEC:2006 5 Page 23 9 Tests for second characteristic numeral Replace, on page 27, 9.2.2 as follows: In the case of a test on a machine not running: a) the machine shall be operated under no-load conditions at rated voltage for 15 min, b) then be submitted to a withstand voltage test, the test v

20、oltage being 50 % of the test voltage for a new machine (but not less than 125 % of the rated voltage). In the case of a test on a running machine, only the withstand voltage test is made, in accordance with item b) above. The test is deemed satisfactory if these checks show no failure. _ Copyright
