10、tet, um zur Qualittssicherung PVD- oder CVD-beschichteter Werkzeuge und Bauteile beizutragen.Sie greift produktspezifische Aspekte des Qualitts-managements (QM) bei der Hartstoffbeschichtungheraus und kann einerseits als Leitfaden fr die Ver-stndigung zwischen Anwendern und Beschichterndienen, ander

11、erseits werden notwendige Vorausset-zungen an eine anforderungsgerechte Hartstoffbe-schichtung verdeutlicht. Die Richtlinie trgt so zurQualittssicherung im Sinne der aktuellen Be-griffsnormung bei, nmlich zur Darlegung von QM-Elementen dem Anwender gegenber mit dem Ziel,Vertrauen in die Erfllung sei

12、ner Qualittsanforde-rungen zu schaffen.Die Richtlinie umfasst folgende Teile:Blatt 1: Eigenschaftsprofile und Anwendungsge-biete von HartstoffbeschichtungenBlatt 2: Anforderungen an zu beschichtende Werk-zeuge und BauteileBlatt 3: Fertigungsablufe und -ttigkeitenBlatt 4: Prfplanung fr Hartstoffschic

13、htenAufgabe von Blatt 1 der Richtlinie ist es, die in derheutigen industriellen Praxis wichtigsten Hartstoff-Schichtsysteme ihren wesentlichen Anwendungsfel-dern zuzuordnen und die unterschiedlichen Eigen-schaften darzulegen. Hierbei sind Verallgemeinerun-gen angestrebt, die natrlich im konkreten An

14、wen-dungsfall berprft werden mssen.Vor allem den Anwendern sollen Anregungen undUntersttzung bei der Auswahl der fr den gegebe-nen Anwendungsfall am besten geeigneten Hartstoff-schicht gegeben werden. Die Beschichter werden beiihrer Darstellung der Anwendungsmglichkeiten vonHartstoffschichten unters

15、ttzt.Werkstoffoberflchen sind solch unterschiedlichenBeanspruchungen wie Verschlei (DIN 50323-2)und Korrosion (DIN EN ISO 8044) ausgesetzt. DerVerschlei begrenzt die Lebensdauer von Maschi-nenteilen, die Einsatzzeit von Werkzeugen sowie dieVerwendbarkeit von Produkten aus dem Konsum-gterbereich. Bei

16、 zunehmender Automatisierung undVernetzung von Produktionsprozessen ist der durchVerschlei einzelner Komponenten bedingte Maschi-nenstillstand ein stndig steigender Kostenfaktor.Dem Verschleischutz kommt daher eine zuneh-mende wirtschaftliche Bedeutung zu. Hier haben sichin den letzten Jahren Beschi

17、chtungen mit dnnenHartstoffschichten, deren Dicken im Bereich weniger1 Preliminary noteThe technical committee ”Quality Assurance“ of thesection ”Surface/Coatings“ within the VDI Societyfor Materials Technology has prepared this guidelinein order to contribute to the quality assurance in thefield of

18、 PVD- and CVD-coated tools and compo-nents. It focuses on product-specific aspects of qual-ity management (QM) in hard coating. On the onehand, this guideline may serve as a reference for thecommunication between users and coaters; on theother hand, it explains the requirements to be met bya hard co

19、ating. The guideline thus contributes toquality assurance in accordance with the currentstandardized meaning of the term: It helps to explainelements of quality management to the user so that hemay gain confidence in the fulfilment of his qualityrequirements.The guideline VDI 3824 comprises the foll

20、owingparts:Part 1: Characteristics profiles and fields of ap-plication of hard coatingsPart 2: Requirements to be met by tools and com-ponents to be coatedPart 3: Production processes and proceduresPart 4: Inspection planning for hard coatingsThe purpose of Part 1 of this series of guidelines is toa

21、llocate the most important hard-coating systems ofcurrent industrial practice to their essential fields ofapplication, and to describe their different character-istics. Generalisations, which are intended, will, ofcourse, have to be verified in each individual case.Suggestions and guidance shall be

22、given to the usersin particular, in order to assist them in selecting thehard coating best suited for the application in ques-tion. The coaters are given support in presenting thepossible applications of hard coatings.Material surfaces are subject to such differentstresses as wear (DIN 50323-2) and

23、corrosion(DINEN ISO 8044). Wear limits the life of machineparts, the service life of tools, and the usability ofproducts from the consumer-goods industry. With in-creasing automation and interconnection of produc-tion processes, the machine down-time due to wear-ing of individual components becomes

24、an ever grow-ing cost factor.Wearing protection is thus gaining more and moreeconomic relevance. Here, thin hard coatings withthicknesses in the range of few micrometers haveproven an excellent solution in recent years. 26、eilen deutlich erhht werden.2 GeltungsbereichHauptanwendungsbereich der Hartstoffschichten istderzeit die Werkzeugbeschichtung. Im zunehmendenMae werden Hartstoffschichten auch auf Bauteilenund Bauteilkomponenten in den Bereichen des allge-meinen Maschinenbaus, der Medizintechnik und imKonsumgterber

27、eich zum Verschleischutz, zur Ver-ringerung der Reibung sowie zur Dekoration einge-setzt.Hartstoffschichten bestehen aus Werkstoffen, derenHrte im Allgemeinen auf Grund des Fehlens einervergleichsweise weichen Metallmatrixphase hherals die von Hartmetall ist. Diese Werkstoffe werdenvorrangig auf der

28、 Basis von Nitriden, Carbiden,Boriden und Oxiden der Metalle Ti, Cr, W, Al und Zrsowie deren Mischungen aus der Dampfphase er-zeugt. Darber hinaus haben harte Kohlenstoff-schichten eine groe Bedeutung erlangt.Zur Abscheidung von Hartstoffschichten werdenPVD-Verfahren (Physical Vapour Deposition = ph

29、y-sikalische Abscheidung aus der Dampfphase) undCVD-Verfahren (Chemical Vapour Deposition = che-mische Abscheidung aus der Dampfphase) mit oderohne Plasmauntersttzung eingesetzt. 30、owie ausfhrlicher in der Richt-linie VDI 3824 Blatt 2 Anforderungen an zu be-schichtende Werkzeuge und Bauteile“ und Blatt 3Fertigungsablufe und -ttigkeiten“ beschrieben.Das Einsatzverhalten des durch die Beschichtungmaterialtechnisch geschaffenen Verbunds Hartstoff-schicht-Substrat ist eine Systeme

31、igenschaft und er-klrt sich aus dem Zusammenspiel der Eigen-schaftsprofile von Schicht- und Substratmaterial. DasEigenschaftsprofil der Schicht wird bestimmt durchdie Eigenschaften des Schichtmaterials und durchdas Verhalten der Schicht als Teil des Verbunds imAnwendungsfall (zum Beispiel in einem b

32、estimmtentribologischen System bestehend aus Grundkrper,Gegenkrper, Zwischenstoff und Umgebungsme-dium; DIN 50323-2). Der durch die Beschichtunggeschaffene Verbund ermglicht eine Funktionsauf-teilung in Oberflchen- und Volumeneigenschaften.Aus diesem Grund ist eine sorgfltige Abstimmungzwischen dem

33、Grundwerkstoff, dessen Oberflchen-zustand und dem Schichtsystem vorzunehmen. 34、opeThe coating of tools is currently the principal applica-tion of hard coatings. Also, hard coatings are increas-ingly applied to components and parts in the fields ofgeneral mechanical engineering, medical technology,and in the consumer-goods industry, in order to pro-tect them from wear, to reduc

35、e friction, and for deco-rative purposes.Hard coatings consist of materials the hardness ofwhich is typically higher than that of hard metal be-cause of the lack of a relatively soft metal matrixphase. These materials are mainly produced from thevapour phase, using nitrides, carbides, borides, andox

36、ides of the metals Ti, Cr, W, Al, and Zr, and mix-tures of these. Furthermore, hard carbon coatingshave gained great importance.For the deposition of hard coatings, PVD (physicalvapour deposition) and CVD (chemical vapour depo-sition) processes are applied, with and withoutplasma enhancement. The pr

37、ocesses are described inthe guideline VDI 3198 ”Coating (CVD, PVD) ofcold forging tools“, and, in greater detail, in theguidelines VDI 3824 Part 2 ”Requirements to be metby tools and components to be coated“, and Part 3”Production processes and procedures“.The application performance of the hard-coa

38、ting/sub-strate composite created by the coating process is asystem characteristic resulting from the combinationof the characteristics profiles of the coating and sub-strate materials. The characteristics profile of thecoating is determined by the characteristics of thecoating material and by the p

39、erformance of the coat-ing as part of the composite in the relevant applica-tion (e.g. in a specific tribological system consistingof body, counter body, interfacial medium, and sur-round medium; DIN 50323-2). The composite cre-ated by coating allows a functional distinction be-tween surface and vol

40、ume characteristics. For thisreason, the basis material and its surface conditionshall be matched with the coating system carefully.For instance, the surface condition of the basis mate-rial directly influences the transition zone, and thusthe adhesion between hard coating and substrate.B55EB1B3E14C

Bei den folgenden Gruppen von Applikationenkonnte durch Einsatz von Hartstoffschichten einedeutliche Verringerung des Verschleies und der Rei-bung erreicht werden: Verringerung von AbrasionsverschleiZum Beispiel: Verschlei an Spritzgusswerkzeu-gen fr abrasiv wirkende Kunststoffe, Kolbe
