3、equipment compo-nents (filters) that may not be common in the automobile industry or whose use leads to deviationsfrom previous measurement results. Furthermore, new rules are introduced in connection with newfilters for the exact description of the surface that were not standard up to now. This rec

4、ommenda-tion was created in order to maintain continuity with the previous specifications and to ensure thecomparability of previous measurement results with future measurement results. The standardslisted in “Scope” largely remain in force, and this recommendation describes only the deviationsfrom

5、them.NOTE No guarantee can be given in respect of this translation. In all cases the latestGerman-language version of this Standard shall be taken as authoritative.ChangesIn comparison with edition 2002-07, the following changes have been made:- The deviations from DIN EN ISO 4288 were added by the

35、ple in the drawing. It is gener-ally the highest-value rule, even if the index “max” is not specified in the designation. Section 5.2 The 16% ruleThis section is not applied.NOTE The 16% rule is not justifiable. The scattering of the characteristic values that is natu-rally found in the surface has

36、always been taken into consideration in determining limit values.Furthermore, Rmax was previously expressly excepted from the 16% rule, even though thisvalue has the greatest scatter.
