5、ISSION FROM ULINTRODUCTION1 Scope1.1 These requirements cover fabricated mobile folding stage assemblies and modular (sectional) stages.CONSTRUCTION2 General2.1 A product shall be constructed so that it will have the strength and durability to withstand normalusage and to comply with the performance

6、 requirements.2.2 An exposed metal surface shall be free from sharp edges, burrs, and other features that constitute arisk of injury to persons.2.3 Bolt and rivet holes shall be accurately made, and burrs more than 1/32 inch (0.8 mm) high shall beremoved.2.4 Each rivet shall be of proper size for th

7、e rivet hole, without major visible cracks or splits, concentricwith the rivet hole, and in contact with the surface of the member so that a 0.005 inch (0.13 mm) feelergauge cannot be fully inserted between the rivet head and the surface of the member or between twomembers attached together by a riv

8、et.2.5 All welds shall be free from undercuts, cracks, and closely spaced in-line surface porosity.PERFORMANCE3 Load Test3.1 A product shall withstand, without failure or visible damage to the structure, a load equal to the squarearea of the floor multiplied by the manufactures rating per square foo

10、RODUCTION ORDISTRIBUTION WITHOUT PERMISSION FROM UL4 Decking-Strength Test4.1 A product shall withstand, without failure or visible damage to the structure, a load of 1000 pounds(454 kg) when tested as described in 4.2.4.2 The decking strength is to be determined with the test unit in a flat, horizo

11、ntal position, supported byits legs and/or castors if provided. The test load is to be applied to the least supported decking area usinga 4 by 9 inch block. The test is to be done with the block parallel and perpendicular to the sides.MARKING5 General5.1 Each unit shall be marked with the following
