3、nce Test / 27.2Subject: Remove surface tension requirement in UL 1703 for consistency with UL61730.DECISION:27.2 The laminate portion of the module or panel is to be immersed in a non-corrosive liquid agent(surfactant) solution. The liquid agent is to have 35 ohm-meter maximum resistance, 0.03 N/m m

4、aximumsurface tension, and a temperature of 22 3C (72 5F). Terminal boxes and pigtail-leads or otherconnectors are to be maintained above the solution level and are to be thoroughly wetted by pouring thesolution over these areas. Uninsulated terminations are not to be wetted.RATIONALE FOR DECISION:U

5、L 61730-2, MST 17, Wet leakage current test, refers to IEC 61215-2, MQT 15, with the same test name.MST 17 no longer requires a surface tension requirement to the test solution, only conductivity andtemperature.
