19、d is not part of this standard.The specification of interface compatibility requirements for interfaces between Wire-less Carrier networks and other carrier networks was initiated under the auspices ofthe ANSI accredited Telecommunications Industry Association Committee TR45.The purpose of this stan
20、dard is to enable separate telecommunications elements to pro-vide compatible interconnecting equipment and signaling.To accomplish this purpose, this standard provides signaling protocol requirements forinterfaces that interconnect a switching system in a Wireless Carrier network with aswitching sy
21、stem in another network (i.e., Exchange Carrier (EC), Interexchange Car-rier (IC), International Carrier (INC), Consolidated Carrier or other carrier network).Within the context of this standard, a Wireless Carrier network can provide the capa-bilities available in other carrier networks.It is expec
