This standard does not specify a specific naming convention for the filename portion of the filespec; ho

8、wever, those who generate filter characteristic data are encouraged to include some reference to the model number and to the date the data was taken. Because of compatibility issues, a filespec following the DOS 8.3 naming convention is encouraged, but is not required for compliance. 4.2 The File He

9、ader 4.2.1 General The file header consists of records that carry information not related to the devices characteristics data. 4.2.2 File Header Record Characteristics The header records to be used in digitized filter characteristics for the Terrestrial Land Mobile Radio Services are defined in Tabl

10、e 1. They are described in detail in the succeeding sub-clauses. Each header record begins with an abbreviated name field, ending in a colon. If one or more data field follows the abbreviated name field, there is no field delimiter between the abbreviated name field and the first field following it.

11、 If there are two or more data fields, the comma (“,”) serves as a field delimiter. All data positions up to and including the decimal point (if appropriate for the data type) shall be filled. Per-line comments may be added to any record. In any record, all data after a “!” character may be ignored.

12、 The record length, including the abbreviated record name but excluding the , shall not exceed the value specified in the Length column. If the format is free form, then the record may be shorter than the maximum length, and shall be terminated with a carriage return and line feed characters. Copyri

24、ice. 4.2.3.10 Connector Type 1 CNTYP1:XXXX,YYYYYYYY,ZZZZZZ This is the connector series and gender for external connection. The “X” fields describe the use of the external port: TX, RX, or ANT. If all or both ports are the same use “ALL” or “BOTH”. The “Y” fields describe the connector series; e.g.

25、“TYPE N”, “UHF”, “BNC”. The “Z” fields describe the gender of the connector mounted on the device (not the mating connector), i.e. “MALE” or “FEMALE”. If a single record is inadequate to describe the external connectors on a single device, use CNTYP2:, CNTYP3:, etc. 4.2.3.11 Minimum Operating Temper

This applies only to N Window filters. 4.2.3.18 Window Filter Rejection WINREJ:XXX.X This is the minimum rejection provided by the window filter at

37、 frequencies outside the outer edge frequencies of the filter, expressed in dB. 38、cteristics data follows the header data. Each data file includes at least one set of characteristics data. In cases where a given manufacturers model number corresponds to more than one characteristic curve (for example, in the case of different coupling loops), characteristics data will be presente

39、d corresponding to each different curve. Because filter power ratings are related to dissipation, the power ratings correspond to the coupling. Therefore, each set of data will include, in addition to the characteristic curves themselves, corresponding maximum average and peak power ratings. Within

40、the characteristic curves, the frequencies shall be absolute (not relative to center) and shall be expressed in MHz. 4.3.2 Data Header otherwise, optional. FR = Footer record. Required. 4.3.2.1 Begin Data BEGIND: This record tells the program that the non-common data for a particular unique configur

41、ation has begun. 4.3.2.2 Unique Information UNIQUE:XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX This record establishes what is unique about this configuration to distinguish it from other curves in this file. One possibility, for example, would be “1.5 dB loops”. 4.3.2.3 Maximum Average Power PMAXAV:9999W The maximum aver

The following subclauses relate to those unique frequency

The charactistics file shall include all such fields that are applicable to the particular type of device that is being described and shall include none of those fields that are not applicable. The subclauses below describe frequencies to which the devices are tuned. 4.3.2.5.1 Pass

45、frequency (Bandpass, notch, or pass-notch filter) PASSFQ:9999.9999 The frequency in MHz to which the filter being tested was tuned. 4.3.2.5.2 High-pass frequency (Duplexer) HPFREQ:9999.9999 The high pass frequency in MHz to which the duplexer being tested was tuned. 4.3.2.5.3 Low Pass frequency (Dup
