1、MILITARY SPECIFICATION TRANSMITTER, RADIO AN/URT-23( ) This specification is approved for use by the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Comnand, Department of the Navy, and is avaiiabie for use by all Departments and Agencies of the Departmdnt of Defense. 1. SCOPE 1.1 Scope. This specif ication covers

2、a Radio Transmitter AN/URT-23( ), hereinafter referred to as the equipment, and associated accessories. This equipment is a digitally tuned transmitter, intended for general purpose voice, continuous wave (CW), radio teletype and data comnunicat ions. The equipment operates in the 2.0 megahertz (MHz

3、) to 30.0 MHz frequency range and prcvides transmission of single sideband (SSB), selectable upper sideband (USE), lower sideband (LSB), and independent sideband (ISE), CW, amplitude modulation (AM) (compatible), single and multichannel teletypewriter (TTY), and Naval Tactical Data System (NTDS) LIN

32、aval ship and shore comnunications service. Mechanical and electrical ruggedness is of paramount importance for assurance of reliable perform- ance. 3.2 E. GFE shall be as specified (see 6.4). 3.3 Interchangeability. Interchangeability requirements shall be as specified (see 6.2.1). 3.4 Composition.
