SCOPE1.1 s. The radio setsimplex tw

2、o-way communication of(AM) Or frequenCy modulated (FM)covered bynormal andsignals indefined as follows: 30.000 thr through 155;9975 MHZ (fi ind” FM), 156.000through 173.9875 MWZ (FM) , and 225.000 through 399.9875 MWz (AM and Ftl). Theradio set shall also provide variable AM and FM electronic counte

3、r-countermeasure (ECCM) mode(e) when used in conjunction with appropriatecontrol device(s) . In addition, the radio set ehal 1 provide a receive-onlymode of oparation of normal and secure voice from 108.000 through 117.9975 MHz(AM) and additional modes of operation as specified in 3.5.6. WAVSQUICK a

4、sdeecribed herein refers to HAVEQUICK and WAVEQUICK II. Thereceiver-transmitter (RT) shall provide capability for combinations of secure,non-secure, jam-resistant, and non- jam resistant voice and data comnumlcationsfor a variety of missions involving air-to-air and air-to-surface operationsusing di

5、rect and relayed communications as specif led herein. 41、en obtained.3. REQUIREMENTS3.1 Preproduction. This specification makes provision forpreproduction testing.3.2 Parts and materials. In the selection of parts and materials, theprime considerations are fulfillment of performance requirements, size,weight, power, logistics supportability, and reliabili

42、ty assurance in acost-effective design. For this program, the following definitions (RT 6Applique only) apply:(a) Military equivalent unscreened parts are those parts producedQualified Products List (QPL) vendor on the same line as “fully screened”parts but without screening beyond the vendors “norm

43、al process testing. “(b) Unscreened MI L-TSMP range parts are those parts procured frombyacontractor qualified vendors with no “additional screening” beyOnd the vendorsnormal process testing.The following criteria shall govern ih parts and material selection:(a) When possible, electronic functional

44、subassemblies shall beilemented thrOugh the use Of medi-scale integrated (MSI) andforlarge-scale integrated (LSI ) circuits. This does not preclude the use of verylarge-scale integrated (VLSI ) circuits or very high speed integrated circuits(VHSIC technology where appropriate. unless otherwise appro

All second-source microelectronic devices and components shall bemechanically and electrically i

46、nterchangeable.(b) The selection and application of parts, materials, and processesshall be in accordance with MIL-E-5400 . Specifications for all parts shallinclude quality assurance requirements consistent with those controllingspecifications which shall be prepared in accordance with MIL-sTD-965.

47、(c) Subassemblies shall be designed and fabricated to be repairable.Maximum economic standardization of parts and materials shall be exercised.Parts selection shall be made in the following order of precedence:(1) a. For the XT-1556 and CD-17, the first order ofprecedence shall be military equivalen

48、t unscreened parts or unscreened MILtemperature ran9e parts proven to be acceptable by environmental stresstesting requirements of 3.2.4.2, and approved in accordance with 3.2.1.b. For the C-1189617/8 and ID-2428, the first orderof precedence shall be military standard established reliability parts

49、inaccordance with MIL-E-5400. When discrete transistors and diodes arerequired, they shall be chosen and applied as specified in MIL-S-19500 andMIL-STD-701 .
