5、shall deliver 8.3 gallons per minute (gpm) minimum during the initial test of 1-112 minutes duration, when operating at 3880 +10 revolutions per minute (rpm) and having an inlet pressure of 15 +2 pouns per square inch gage (psig) and outlet pressure adjusted to 265 ClO psig. The flow rate of the pum

Delete and substitute: H44.1 Responsibflity for inspection. Unless otherwise specified in the contract,

8、 the contractor is responsible for the performance of all inspec- tion requirements as specified herein. Except as otherwise specified in the contract, the contractor may use his own or any other facilities suitable for the performance of the inspection requirements specified herein, unless disappro

9、ved by the Government. The Government reserves the right to perform any of the inspection set forth in the specification where such inspections are deemed necessary to assure supplies and services conform to prescribed requirements“ PAGE 9 Paragraph 4.4.4.1. Delete and substitute: “4.4.4.1 Operation

10、al test. Install the pump in the pump test stand and connect it to the appropriate fittings in accordance with Figures 1 and 2. With the drive unit operating the pump at 3880 +10 rpm and with an inlet pressure of 15 +2 psig, the output pressure sharl be adjusted to 265 510 psig. The flow-rate shall

11、be at least 7.5 gpm during the first six duty cycles of the operational service life, and at least 6.8 gpm during the remaining four duty cycles. The pump shall operate for one complete duty cycle of 7 minutes on salt water. Post-test servicing and maintenance shall be performed in accordance with 4

19、mbled and cleaned after each run. All packing preforms shall be re- placed. The pump shall then be reassembled. The vanes must be installed in their original position with regard to rotation and contact edge, but may be interchanged from slot to slot. The wear plate shall not be reversed from its or

20、iginal position. The pump shall be lubricated in accordance with instructions on Drawing 1566923”.
