3、pproved for use within the Naval Sea Systems Cormuand, Department of the Navy, and is available for use by all Departments and Agencies of the Department of Defense. ._ 1. SCOPE - ._ - 1.1 Scope. This specification covers high efficiency filter elements for use in navy distillate fuel, F-76 conformi
4、ng to MIL-F-16884 or turbine fuel, aviation grade, JP-5 conforming to MIL-T-5624 (see 6.1). 2. APPLICABLE DOCUMENTS 2.1 Government documents. 2.1.1 Specifications and standards. Analyze gravimetrically per SAF, ARP 785 the two samples extracted from the contaminant injection system (see 4.7.4.12 (d) and (i). Calculate the average of these two gravi

The collapse test procedure shall be as follows: Run filtration ratio test for element no. 3 according to 4.7.4.12 (a) through (f). At 30 lblin diffe
19、rential turn off counters, continue to inject contaminant, and increase flou to 70 gal/min. Haintain increased flou rate until 180 lb/in element differential pressure is reached. Stop contaminant injection. Reduce flou to 10 gal/min. Switch in test circuit clean-up filter. Continue testing with 10 g
20、al/min flow, conforming to 4.7.4.12 (cl through (8). Present filtration ratios (see 4.7.4) on particle counts obtained in 4.7.4.12 (c) through (8). and include in test report.
