Materials, design, or construction shall not be altered - :. . _. rollowing first article acceptance. . . 3.2“ Design and construction. 3.2.1 Design. lne cylinders shall co
15、nsist of fiberglass filaments impregnated with a thermosetting plastic resin and wound on a metal liner. The metal liner shall not be stressed above its elasirc limit at cylinder pneumatic pressure up to proof pressure: the liner shall not be stressed above 95 percent of its compressive yield streng
16、th, cylinder unpressurized; and the maximum strength in the glass filaments at the 6300 pounds per square inch (lb/in2), 160F operating pressure shall not exceed 30 percent of the filament stress at virgin hyarostatic burst pressure of the cylinder. Stresses shall be computed by tne Compirter Code N
17、ASA CR-72124, or otner equivalent analytic techniques. 3.2. l. 1 Operating characteristics. Operating characteristics of the cylinder shall be as follows: (a) Operating pressure - Normal room temperature (75OF 2 5OF) - 5000 lb/in2 - High temperature (160F) - 6300 lb/inz - Low temperature (minus 2OoF
18、) - 3700 lb/in2 (b) Proof pressure - 7500 lb/in2 (minimum) (c) Bu;.st pressure - 15,000 lb/in2 (minimum) (a) Temperature range - Minus 20F to 160F (e) Useful cyclic life (without liner leakage) - 500 fill cycles or 100 fill cycles plus 3500 temperature cycles from minus 20F to 160F (f) Dynamic fatig
19、ue life - 10 years (g) Leakage less than 5 percent pressare in 10 years 3.2.1.2 Physical characteristics. A resin system composed of Dow Chemical DER 332 and curing agent nYtr, or equal, may be used. 3.2.2
23、.1 Material deter,iora$ion. Materials shall not deteriorate when subjected to the environmental conditions specified herein. 3.2.2.2 Liner. Metal liner shall be aluminum alloy UNS A96061, O temper, h-eat treated to T6 condition after final forming. Otner metals or alloys ma.y be proposed to the comm
24、and or agency concerned. Metal liner material, design, and fabrication process shall not be altered from that demonstra-ted to have acceptable life by first article inspection. Liner alloy and fabrication process shall be identified on the detail drawings, and in the first article inspection report
