1、INCH-POUND CCC-C-46D AMENDMENT 2 July 15, 1999 SUPERSEDING AMENDMENT 1 June 23,1995 FEDERAL SPECIFICATION CLOTH, CLEANING, NONWOVEN FABRIC The General Services Administration has authorized the use of this amendment which forms a part of CCC-C-46D, dated September 30, 1986, by all federal agencies.

2、PAGE 4 3.7.1: Delete in its entirety and substitute: “3.7.1 Class 1. When tested in accordance with applicable requirements of method 5088 referenced in 4.3, the Class 1 cloth shall not be seriously affected by the following organic solvents: trichloroethylene, turpentine, and stoddard solvent.” 3.7

3、.3: Delete in its entirety and substitute: “3.7.3 Class 7. When class 7 cloth is tested in accordance with 4.3.6, the average percent of extractable matter, excluding volatiles, shall be no more than 0.20 percent using methyl ethyl ketone (MEK) and 0.20 percent using trichloroethylene.” PAGE 7 4.3.2

4、: Delete in its entirety and substitute: “4.3.2 Linting. Cut a 1/8-inch aluminum panel to 5 by 5 inches. Drill 16 holes spaced 1 inch apart and countersink (see figure 1). Install MS24694, or equal, screws and secure with AN3 15-3R, or equal, nuts. Rub the surface of the panel with the cloth for one

5、 minute and examine for evidence of linting.
