2、Description - The jumper shall be a pullover body style with elastic attached at the neck, waist and wrist openings of the full length sleeves. The elastic shall be attached with a seam or may be encased in heat sealed tunnels. The joining seams shall be heat sealed (non-embossed) to finish on the i

3、nside of the garment. Material - The material for the jumper shall be made of a yellow plastic film, flexible, vinylchloride, 0.0080 (+0.0008) inch thick, conforming to type I, class 2 of L-P-375, except that- the requirements for extraction in soapy water, volatility, resistance to weathering, cold

4、 crack, and lacquer lifting shall not apply. No pinholes are allowed. Sizes and measurements - The jumper shall be one type in one size. All measurements and tolerances are expressed in inches. The finished jumper shall have the following measurements when measured flat: Chest (across front at armpi

5、t) - 35 Waist (fully expanded across bottom - mi ni mum - 25 Sleeve Inseam Width (6 inches above elastic) - 22-1/2 -9 Length (shoulder to bottom of jumper) - 35-1/2 Tolerances - +1 - Beneficial comments (recommendations, additions, deletions) and any pertinent data which may be of use in improving t

Each jumper shall be labeled in a permanent and visible manner with thenufacturers name, contract number, and nationa

8、l stock number. - WorkmanshQ - After complet ion, the jumper shall be thoroughly cleaned and all foreign matter removed. Product demonstration model - Offerers are required to submit 2 (two) jumpers of their intended production arid style. Product demonstration model will consist of units independen

9、tly developed. Product demonstration models will be analyzed and evaluated by the Government. Evaluation criteria and basis for award are contained in the solici tation. Production demonstration models will be retained by the Government. One (1) product demonstration model approved by DPSC under the

10、 resultant contract will serve as a manufacturing standard for the corresponding production items delivered under this contract. Offerers are advised that the product demonstration model does not relieve the successful offerer of his responsiblity to perform in accordance with the Commercial Item De

11、scription specified above. Responsiblity for inspection - The supplier is responsible for assuring the product conforms to the requirements. Jumper lots will be inspected to determine conformance with the Commercial Item Description and the successful offerers technical proposal as negotiated. Accep

12、tability of jumper lots will be determined by the use of “Sampling Procedures and Tables for Inspection by Attributestt, ANSI 21.4, published by the American Society for Quality Control. Sampling procedures will be designated by the Government at the time of award. The sample unit is one jumper. The

13、 jumper will be examined for commercial type defects only. Defects - The jumpers shall be examined for the following defects: any hole, cut tear, open seam; any inadequte heat seal, i.e., incomplete or irregular such that the seam can be pulled apart with moderate hand pressure; any component omitte

14、d or not as specified; any measurement not as specified; design other than specified; any defect not otherwise classified herein but at variance with the product demonstration model; not fabricated in accordance with the product demonstration model; label omitted, incorrect, or illegible. Preservati

15、on. The jumpers shall be packaged in accordance with normal commercial-prac t ice. The use of polyethylene film bags is not allowed. Packing, Thirty (30) jumpers, preserved as above, shall be packed in a fiberboard shipping container assembled, closed, and reinforced comforming to type CF, class dom

16、estic, variety DW, grade 275, size 3A of MIL-B-17757. The fiberboard for the liner shall conform to type CF, class domestic of MIL-B-17757. Each container shall have the contents completely covered on the top and bottom with a sheet of commercial grade kraft paper. Marking - The unit package, interm

17、ediate, outer container, and the palletized ms applicable, shall be marked in accordance with MIL-STD-129. 2 Licensed by Information Handling ServicesA-A-503b3A 84 = 7774774 0057532-3 A-A-5036T Palletization - When specified in the contract, item packed as specified above shall be palietized on a 4-

18、way entry pallet in accordance with load type 1A of MIL-STD-147. Each prepared load shall be bonded in accordance with the bonding methods C and D or film bonding F or G. Pallet patterns shall be in accordance with the appendix of MIL-STD-147. The pallet shall be 4-way, type IV, class 1, size 2; or

19、fabricated from wood group I, II, III or IV, grade A of NN-P-71, or 4-way, style 1, size A, type I, class 1 fabricated from wood groups of MIL-P-15011. Interlocking of loads shall be effected by reversing the pattern of each course. If the container is of a size which does not conform to any of the

20、patterns specified in MIL-STD-147, the pallet pattern used shall be approved by the contracting officer.
