4、8E Keywords: Brake Fluid 1.0 APPLICATION This specification covers a glycol based hydraulic brake fluid to be used in brake systems that require a DOT 3 brake fluid meeting the requirements of FMVSS 116 and SAE J1703. 2.0 SCOPE This specification covers the physical and chemical properties for a gly
5、col based hydraulic brake fluid including quality plan, source approval, quality control, and shipping and identification requirements. 2.1 Restricted Chemical Substances Effective January 1, 2007, all product supplied to the requirements of this specification must comply with the requirements of th
6、e CEMS B-50 specification. 3.0 REFERENCE DOCUMENTS Unless otherwise specified the latest issue of all referenced standards shall apply. 8、Shall not be less than 140C (284F) 4.1.3 Kinematic Viscosity at -40C (ASTM D445) Shall be 1050mm/s (cSt) max. 4.1.4 Kinematic Viscosity at 100C (ASTM D445) Shall be 1.5mm/s (cSt) min. 4.1.5 Flash Point (ASTM D92) Shall be 135C (275F) min.
