10、ation will conform to the analysis for SAE E 52100 and will be bearing quality, vacuum carbon deoxidized. 6.2 Metallurgical Requirements 6.2.1 Hardness Annealed bars and seamless tubing purchased to this specification will have hardness of Brinell 167-192 (Rockwell B 86-92) with the exception of the

12、ubing, Annealed, Tube Reduced. 6.2.2 Inclusion Ratings The inclusion rating will be determined in accordance with ASTM E 45, Method D. The average of all specimens tested, as well as 67% of all specimens, will not exceed the rating specified in Table II. See “Methods of Test, “ page 4. TABLE II INCL

14、ucts are permissible provided they do not exceed 0.010 in (0.25 mm) in depth or 4 in (102 mm) in length. See “Methods of Test,” Section 8. 6.2.4 Austenitic Grain Size Austenitic grain size will be No. 7 or finer. See “Methods of Test,” Section 8. 6.2.5 Homogeneity Steel provided to this specificatio
15、n will meet requirements of ASTM A295 for homogeneity Macroetch. Carbide size rating will not be greater than CS3: carbide network rating will not be greater than CN3: lamellar content will not be greater LC1 as per ASTM A892. 6.3 Dimensional Tolerances 6.3.1 Bars Dimensional tolerances will conform to those specified in ASTM A29. 6.3.2 Seamless Tubing Dimensi
