ITU-T Recommendation 4.714 Signalling connection control part procedures Summary This Recommendation describes the proce
7、dures performed by the Signalling Connection Control Part (SCCP) of Signalling System No. 7 to provide connection-oriented and connectionless network services, as well as SCCP management services as defined in ITU-T 4.71 1. These procedures make use of the messages and information elements defined i
8、n ITU-T 4.7 12, whose formatting and coding aspects are specified in ITU-T 4.713. Source ITU-T Recommendation 4.714 was revised by ITU-T Study Group 11 (2001-2004) and approved under the WTSA Resolution 1 procedure on 25 May 2001. 9、Union (ITU) is the United Nations specialized agency in the field of telecommunications. The ITU Telecommunication Standardization Sector (ITU-T) is a permanent organ of ITU. ITU-T is responsible for studying technical, operating and tariff questions and issuing Recommendations on them with a view t
10、o standardizing telecommunications on a worldwide basis. The World Telecommunication Standardization Assembly (WTSA), which meets every four years, establishes the topics for study by the ITU-T study groups which, in turn, produce Recommendations on these topics. The approval of ITU-T Recommendation
11、s is covered by the procedure laid down in WTSA Resolution 1. In some areas of information technology which fall within ITU-Ts purview, the necessary standards are prepared on a collaborative basis with IS0 and IEC. NOTE In this Recommendation, the expression “Administration“ is used for conciseness
12、 to indicate both a telecommunication administration and a recognized operating agency.
