6、.1223 global functional plane for intelligent network capability set 2 Summary IN Capability Set 2 (IN CS-2) is the second standardized stage of the intelligent networ an architectural concept for the creation and provision of telecommunication services. Recommendation provides the Intelligent Netwo
7、rk (IN) Global Functional Plane (GFP) architecture for IN Capability Set 2 (IN CS-2). This Recommendation defines the IN GF for IN CS-2 based on the general framework for IN GFP provided in Recommendation Q.1203 2, consistent with the scope of IN CS-2 defined in Recommendation Q.1221 This Recommenda
8、tion defines: - the IN GFP model for IN CS-2 in terms of a subset of the general IN GFP mode - identifications and definition of the 21 IN CS-2 Service Independent Building-bl (SIBS), including the Basic Call Process (BCP) and the Basic Call Unrelated Process (BCUP) specialized SIB; the use of globa
9、l service logic in IN CS-2. - Companion Recommendations include the Q. 120x- and Q.122-Series of Recommendation s. The ITU Telecommunication Standardization Sector (ITU-T) is a permanent organ of the ITU. The ITU-T is responsible for studyi
11、ng technical, operating and tariff questions and issuing Recommendations on them with a view to standardizing telecommunications on a worldwide basis. The World Telecommunication Standardization Conference (WTSC), which meets every four years, establishes the topics for study by the ITU-T Study Grou
12、ps which, in their turn, produce Recommendations on these topics. The approval of Recommendations by the Members of the ITU-T is covered by the procedure laid down in WTSC Resolution No. 1. In some areas of information technology which fall within ITU-Ts purview, the necessary standards are prepared
13、 on a collaborative basis with IS0 and IEC. NOTE In this Recommendation, the expression “Administration“ is used for conciseness to indicate both a telecommunication administration and a recognized operating agency.
