J.177 (11/2005) i ITU-T Recommendation J.177 IPCablecom CMS subscriber provisioning specification Summary This Recommendation defines the interface used between the Call Management Server (CMS) and Provisioning Server (PS) for the exchange of service provisioning information. The interfa
3、ce employs a Web Service model. Specified in Web Service Description Language 1.1 (WSDL 1.1), the interface transports XML encoded objects within Simple Object Access Protocol 1.1 (SOAP 1.1) encoded messages over an HTTP 1.1 transport. This interface is secured via IPSec. Source ITU-T Recommendation

J.177 (11/2005) FOREWORD The International Telecommunication Union (ITU) is the United Nations specialized agency in the field of telecommunications. The ITU Telecom
5、munication Standardization Sector (ITU-T) is a permanent organ of ITU. ITU-T is responsible for studying technical, operating and tariff questions and issuing Recommendations on them with a view to standardizing telecommunications on a worldwide basis. The World Telecommunication Standardization Ass
6、embly (WTSA), which meets every four years, establishes the topics for study by the ITU-T study groups which, in turn, produce Recommendations on these topics. The approval of ITU-T Recommendations is covered by the procedure laid down in WTSA Resolution 1. In some areas of information technology wh
7、ich fall within ITU-Ts purview, the necessary standards are prepared on a collaborative basis with ISO and IEC. NOTE In this Recommendation, the expression “Administration“ is used for conciseness to indicate both a telecommunication administration and a recognized operating agency. Compliance with
8、this Recommendation is voluntary. However, the Recommendation may contain certain mandatory provisions (to ensure e.g. interoperability or applicability) and compliance with the Recommendation is achieved when all of these mandatory provisions are met. The words “shall“ or some other obligatory lang
9、uage such as “must“ and the negative equivalents are used to express requirements. The use of such words does not suggest that compliance with the Recommendation is required of any party. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS ITU draws attention to the possibility that the practice or implementation of this
10、Recommendation may involve the use of a claimed Intellectual Property Right. ITU takes no position concerning the evidence, validity or applicability of claimed Intellectual Property Rights, whether asserted by ITU members or others outside of the Recommendation development process. 19、ecommendation J.177 IPCablecom CMS subscriber provisioning specification 1 Scope 1.1 Purpose of this Recommendation This Recommendation defines the interface used between the Call Management Server (CMS) and Provisioning Server (PS) for the exchange of service provisioning information. The interface

21、on this interface is specifically designed to be extensible, allowing incorporation of as yet undefined IPCablecom features and specific vendor extensions. 1.2 Scope of this Recommendation The scope of this Recommendation is limited to the provisioning of an IPCablecom CMS by a single service provid
22、er. Additionally: The CMS provisioning interface is limited to the exchange of service activation data between the CMS and the PS. The interface between the PS and the back-office Operations Support System (OSS) is out of scope. CMS element management and network element provisioning (dial plans, et
23、c.) are out of scope.
