Control is provided by the definition ofannouncement events (for example, “announcement completed“) and announcement signals (forexample, “

AnMG receiving such a signal p

21、lays the indicated announcement (indicated by the nameparameter) for the duration specified by the noc parameter or the signal duration. Theone that expires first will stop the announcement. If noc parameter and/or duration is notincluded, the MG uses the corresponding announcements defaults.If the

22、signal duration is 0, the signal is played specified by the noc parameter only or whennot included in the signal by the announcements number of cycle default.To provide additional information when an announcement is to be played, the MGC sendsa play variable announcement signal to the MG. H.248 does

23、nt guarantee in sequenceprocessing of transactions. To ensure sequential playing of an announcement, atransaction reply for a command that affects the announcement signal should be receivedby the Media Gateway Controller before it sends the additional variable announcementdata. An MG receiving such

24、a signal plays the indicated announcement (indicated by thename parameter) for the duration specified by the noc parameter or the signal duration.The one that expires first will stop the announcement. If noc parameter and/or durationare not included, the MG uses the corresponding announcement defaul

25、ts.If the signal duration is 0, the signal is played specified by the noc parameter only or whennot included in the signal by the announcements number of cycle default.If the “Specific parameters” parameter is included, the MG uses the “Specific parametersinterpretation” parameter to identify and in

26、terpret the particular type of information to beincluded in relation to the announcement. External (default) indicates that the announcement is sent from the MG to anexternal point. Internal indicates that the announcement is played into the MG to the otherterminations. Both indicates internal and external behaviour.
