9、ignal Processing Network Elements (SPNE). Corrigendum 1 contains corrections to be incorporated within a number of data files in G.776.1 Annex A (10/1998), which are used by developers when implementing a TMN. The changes include issues identified in the G.776.1 Implementors Guide (06/1999) and corr

10、ection to errors discovered by the ITU-T SG 17 ASN.1 Project when compiling the respective ASN.1 modules. Source Corrigendum 1 to ITU-T Recommendation G.776.1 (1998) was approved on 13 February 2007 by ITU-T Study Group 16 (2005-2008) under the ITU-T Recommendation A.8 procedure. ii ITU-T Rec. G.776

11、.1 (1998)/Cor.1 (02/2007) FOREWORD The International Telecommunication Union (ITU) is the United Nations specialized agency in the field of telecommunications. The ITU Telecommunication Standardization Sector (ITU-T) is a permanent organ of ITU. ITU-T is responsible for studying technical, operating

12、 and tariff questions and issuing Recommendations on them with a view to standardizing telecommunications on a worldwide basis. The World Telecommunication Standardization Assembly (WTSA), which meets every four years, establishes the topics for study by the ITU-T study groups which, in turn, produc

13、e Recommendations on these topics. The approval of ITU-T Recommendations is covered by the procedure laid down in WTSA Resolution 1. In some areas of information technology which fall within ITU-Ts purview, the necessary standards are prepared on a collaborative basis with ISO and IEC. NOTE In this

14、Recommendation, the expression “Administration“ is used for conciseness to indicate both a telecommunication administration and a recognized operating agency. Compliance with this Recommendation is voluntary. However, the Recommendation may contain certain mandatory provisions (to ensure e.g. intero

15、perability or applicability) and compliance with the Recommendation is achieved when all of these mandatory provisions are met. The words “shall“ or some other obligatory language such as “must“ and the negative equivalents are used to express requirements. The use of such words does not suggest tha

21、agement Network (TMN). SPNEs as used in this Recommendation include echo cancellers, transcoders, circuit multiplication systems, and signal/service processing systems. Information in this Recommendation is based on actual and planned equipment installed (or to be installed) in todays Public Switche

22、d Telephone Networks. It is important to also note that this Recommendation does not specify functionality or performance for any particular implementation of an SPNE. The criteria contained herein are intended to only reflect the collective universe of options and features for the particular SPNE c
