2、ferred from usage by existingservices to developing new applications;b) that new or growing applications for aeronautical telemetry, such as unmanned aerialvehicles, require access to appropriate spectrum for their operation,recognisinga) the advantages of harmonized worldwide spectrum usage above 3

3、 GHz for widebandaeronautical telemetry; andb) that no such harmonized spectrum usage for wideband aeronautical telemetry exists,decides that the following Questions be studied1 What is the spectrum requirement for wideband aeronautical telemetry in the bands above3 GHz?2 What are the appropriate fr

4、equency bands and in which bands is harmonized worldwideusage possible?3 What are the technical and operational characteristics, or practical arrangements that couldbe made, to facilitate sharing between wideband aeronautical mobile telemetry and incumbent radioservices?further decides1 that the results of the studies should be included in one or more Recommendations; and2 that the studies should be completed by 2005._* This Question should be brought to the attention of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO).* Former Question ITU-R 231/8.
