16、all, reflect the authors personal experi-ence. References to spreadsheet and database tools are made throughout the book. In most cases, the tools are used to teach a topic, though many of them are also practical design tools developed “on-the-fly.” For example, in the cabinet arrangement task in Part III, the tool is merely a teaching aid.
