It is Superceded for all future projects and replaced by GMW14192. 1. PURPOSE This test specification determines the req

3、uirements, the test conditions and test method for the function - and fatigue tests of condenser coming into operation in the vehicle for the air conditioner. 2. REMARK Samples of material released to this specification shall be tested according to this spec. and approved by GMDAT TECHNICAL CENTER p

4、rior to the commencement of this bulk supplies. In the event of any intentional deviation from the requirement of this spec., it is the sole responsibility of the supplier to submit the purchaser unsolicited the samples for reapproval by GMDAT TECHNICAL CENTER prior to the commencement of delivery o

5、f deviant bulk supplies. 3. TEST SAMPLE AND TEST QUANTITY The test of condenser is performed on the assembly. If nothing else in specified, so min. 3 piece condenser-ASM. With a works test certificate to DIN 50049-2.3 are to be delivered for initial sampling and release test to this specification. 4

6、. PRETREATMENT If nothing else is specified, the tests are performed without pretreatment in the delivery condition at +235K. 5. TEST PROGRESS The tests are to be performed corresponding to the test schema in clause 11. The specified sequence is to be observed at the tests, because it is not secured

7、, that comparable results are obtained. 6. TEST APPARATUSES AND AUXILIARY MEANS 6.1. Test apparatuses corresponding to the specified specifications and standards. 6.2. Suitable test apparatuses, devices and auxiliary means, in order to perform the stated tests, as well as to measure the results with

8、 the corresponding accuracy. 6.3. Test media corresponding to the details in the individual tests. 7. REQUIREMENTS 7.1. 9、All materials used for the condenser and surface treatments must correspond to the drawing specifications and to the details in the releases. 7.1.2. Identification The GMDAT-trade mark to EDS-A-0008, the manufacturing date to EDS-A-0012, the part-No., the manufacturer mark and at plastic parts, so f

10、ar as this is possible, the material mark to EDS-M-0101 must be attached well-legibly and permanently at suitable position of condenser. 7.1.3. Visual - and dimensional test The parts may not show any visible damages or defects at delivery, which injure the function or the appearance. The dimensions

11、 determined in the drawings and/or releases and their tolerances must be observed by the condensers. 7.1.4. All soldered joint points must be gastight. 7.2. Bursting strength The condenser filled with water or oil must endure a bursting strength of 6 MPa at a pressure rise of 0.5 MPa/min. 7.3. Leaka

12、ge test The condenser shall be airtight at an inner overpressure of 2 MPa-0.2MPa. Dry air, nitrogen or a mixture of these media shall be used as test media. The test shall be performed by pressure under relaxed water. The test pressure shall be maintained at least for one minute, the observation tim

13、e is one minute. In this case, any bubble may not be shown. 7.4. Dryness The moisture content of the condenser may not exceed 500 ppm at test with a suitable hygrometer. 7.5. Inner purity In condenser, no residues exceeding the following defined limits, as for example, deposits, scales, chips, greas

14、e may be contained. The determinable soluble(greases and unctuous) and firm, washable residue may not exceed 1mg per dm2total inner surface. 7.6. Tight fit of lamellas The connection between lamellas and pipes must be so carried out that 2% max of connections without destruction of lamella is loosen

15、ed with simple tool(screw driver by hand. 7.7. Protective filling The condenser shall be provided with a protective filling for the transport and the intermediate storage and shall be locked tightly by protective cap. The filling can consist of dried air, dried nitrogen or a mixture of these gases w

Down stream pressure loss Requirements and test conditions are determined in the respective part drawings. 7.10. Vibration test 7.10.1. Condenser kpi The condenser i

18、s provided with mounted connection pipes in the mounting position, is subject to a vibration test. The vibration is performed with a vertical amplitude. Frequency 20Hz Amplitude 2mm Temperature +235k Test period 50h Subsequently a leakage test is to be performed to clause 7.3 . 7.10.2. Hot gas admis

19、sion pipe The condenser is mounted in the fitting position in a stationary frame. On the hot gas admission pipe, a freezing mixture hose with corresponding nominal diameter and 580mm length is mounted, which is fixed to the other side of vibrator. The vibrator is adjusted with a vertical amplitude o

20、f 1.35mm in the frequency, so that the acceleration measured on the core barrel extension(measuring point see sketch) amounts to horizontal 2g and vertical 1g Test period 50h Subsequently, a leakage test is to be performed to clause 7.3.
