This test specification determines the test conditions, - progress and requirements for the steering stop test. 1.2

11、Note. Releasing samples, to which this specification applies, must be tested according to this spec. and approved by GMDAT Technical Center, prior to the commencement of bulk supplies. At intended deviation of this spec., it is the sole responsibility of the supplier to submit the purchaser unsolici

12、ted the samples reapproval by GMDAT Technical Center prior to the commencement of delivery of deviant bulk supplies. 2 References Note: Only the latest approved standards are applicable unless otherwise specified. 2.1 External Standards/Specifications. 13、 Test Samples and Sample Quantities 3.1 For the performance of steering stop test the complete steering gear ASM with steering pillar ASM and steering wheel is necessary. 3.2 Unless otherwise specified, for initial sample approval and arbitration purposes at least 3 test specimens are to be tested,

14、for routine quality control at least 1 test piece is to be tested. 4 Primary Treatment of Specimens The test is performed at +15 to +35 E without primary treatment of specimens. 5 Testing Device and Auxiliary Means 5.1 Suitable supporting - and inserting devices to set the system steering gear-steer

15、ing pillar-steering wheel as in car. 5.2 Equipment for applying the required force on the track rod.
