Hot metal tape based on butyl rubber with calcium carbonate and plasticizer. 1.2 Typical Applications. This specification applies to overlap section of metal sheet and metal sheet for water resistance.

4、quirements 3.1 Consistency. Plastic-stiff. 3.2 At the Working. 3.2.1 Workability. By hand, well-peelable from the protective cover. 3.2.2 Rigidity. A 25 cm long piece sealing tape is stored 2hours at 35 E 3K, after then laid a 15 cm long on a horizontal, elevated base support so that a 10 cm long pi

5、ece produces freely. The end of the free piece may sink in maximum by 30 mm in a minute at +35 E 3K. 3.3 Adhesion Surface. Rough metal sheet. 3.4 Flow Behavior. 3.4.1 The sealing tape shall diverge to the 3 to 4-fold original (6 mm) at horizontal storage on a dip-primed plate and a thermal stress of

Samples of components or materials released to a GM material specification shall be tested

11、 for conformity with the requirements of this material specification and approved by the responsible Engineering department prior to commencement of delivery of bulk supplies. A new approval must be received for any changes, e.g., properties, manufacturing process, location of manufacture, etc. If n

12、ot otherwise agreed, all testing and documentation normally required for initial release must be completed. It is the responsibility of the supplier to inform the customer in a timely manner, without solicitation, and to include documentation of all modifications of materials and/or processes and to

13、 apply for a new release. If not otherwise agreed, all release tests shall be repeated and documented by the supplier prior to commencement of delivery of non-conforming bulk supplies. In individual cases, a shorter test can be agreed to between the responsible Engineering department and the supplie

14、r. 5.4 Initial Source Approval. No shipments shall be made by any supplier until representative initial production samples have been approved by the appropriate Materials Engineering department(s) as meeting the requirements of this specification. 5.5 Material Safety Data Sheets/Safety Data Sheets (

15、MSDS/SDS). For new product submissions, or when a change in chemical composition of an existing product has occurred, a complete copy of the Material Safety Data Sheet/Safety Data Sheet must be submitted in compliance with the Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labeling of Chemicals (G

16、HS) requirements or other country-specific MSDS/SDS requirements. In addition, product MSDS/SDS submissions must be in compliance with specific country General Motors TMC003 Material Safety Data Sheet/Safety Data Sheet guidance documents where available. 5.6 All materials supplied to this standard m

17、ust comply with the requirements of GMW3059, Restricted and Reportable Substances for Parts. 5.7 Dont dump in a ditch, drain, and river. 6 Approved Sources Engineering qualifications of an approved source are required for this standard.
