The purpose of this test procedure is to check and assure the function and the ther- mal stability o

3、f an automatic transmission at max. oil level under European driving and environ- mental conditions. It simulates top speed autobahn driving with heavy decelerations in vehicle longitudinal direc- tion by making braking manoeuvres as well as high lateral accelerations by driving fast turns (e. g. au

6、eck. Dieses Prfverfahren dient der ber- prfung und Sicherstellung der Funktion und der thermischen Belastbarkeit eines automatischen Getriebes bei max. Olstand unter europischen Fahr- und Umweltbedingungen. Es simuliert eine Fahrt auf der Autobahn mit Hchstgeschwindigkeit und groen Verzgerun- gen in

7、 Fahrzeuglngsrichtung durch Bremsman- ver sowie hohen Querbeschleunigungen durch schnelle Kurvenfahrt (z. B. Autobahn Ausfahrt). 1.2 Vorwort. Nicht anwendbar. 1.3 Anwendbarkeit. Vehicle equipped as follows: - New, inspected automatic transmission accord- ing to latest design status.

10、- Oil level adjusted to full level according to oil levelling specification (see drawing). Provide transmission vent valve with receptacle. In case a vent hose is used the receptacle shall be attached to the end of the hose. The hose routing shall correspond with the release. 3.3.2 Vehicle Equipment

11、. - Air conditioning - Engine encapsulation (if programmed for pro- duction start) - Engine cooling according to latest develop- ment status - Anti-lock brake system 3.3.3 Vehicle Load. Curb mass + driver and one front passenger. 4 Procedure 4.1 Preparation. 4.1 .I Temperature Measuring Point. Therm

12、o- couples are required at least for the following six temperature measuring points. 4.1 .I .I Measuring point 1, transmission oil sump temperature. In the oil sump as near as possible to the suction of oil pump (e. g. oil pan). 4.1 .I .2 Measuring point 2, converter output temperature. In the fitti

13、ng of the transmission oil line at the transmission outlet. 4.1.1.3 Measuring point 3, transmission input temperature. In the fitting of the transmission oil line at the transmission inlet. 4.1 .I .4 Measuring point 4, engine coolant “hot”. In the radiator inlet. 4.1.1.5 Measuring point 5, engine co

14、olant “cold”. In the radiator outlet. 4.1.1.6 Measuring point 6, ambient tempera- ture. On the vehicle roof, protected from direct insolation. 3.3 Versuchsfahrzeug I Probekrper. 3.3.1 Getriebeausrstung. Fahrzeug, ausgestat- tet wie folgt: - Neuwertiges, kontrolliertes automatisches Getriebe letzten

15、Entwicklungsstandes. - Olstand auf Maximum eingestellt, ent- sprechend Spezifikation Olbefllung (siehe Zeichnung). Auffangbehlter am Entlfter des Getriebes; bei Einsatz eines Entlftungsschlauches mu der Auffangbehlter am Ende des Schlauches ange- bracht sein. Schlauchverlegung wie Freigabe. 3.3.2 Fa

16、hrzeugausstattung. - Klimaanlage - Motorraumabschottung - Motorkhlung letzter Entwicklungsstand - ABS-Bremsanlage 3.3.3 Fahrzeugbeladung. Leergewicht + Fahrer und Beifahrer. 4 Durchfhrung 4.1 Vorbereitung. 4.1 .I Temperaturmestellen. Die Thermoele- mente sind an mindestens 6 Temperaturmestel- len an

20、her temperature measuring points. Are provided on external components such as shift lever linkage, wiring harness, etc. as requi- red. 4.1.2 Calibration. Before the test, all thermocou- ples shall be calibrated. The same recorder and compensation line shall be used for the calibration as later used

21、in the vehicle. 4.2 Conditions. 4.2.1 Environmental Conditions. For the evaluation of the transmission oil temperatures, and oil spillage from the breather, the ambient temperature shall be 2 +30“C throughout the test. 4.2.2 Test Conditions. Deviations from the requi- rements of this test procedure

22、shall have been agreed upon. Such requirements shall be speci- fied on component drawings, test certificates, reports etc. 4.2.3 Test Road. The test shall be performed on a level and dry road. 4.2.4 Transmission Oil. The tested transmission oil shall comply with the following: Oil grade to be first

23、fill as oil grade used in production. Oil which has been in the vehicle for a running distance representative of the specified oil change intervals. If an oil change is not speci- fied, the required running distance is 100.000 km. 4.3 Instructions. 4.3.1 The vehicle shall be driven in selector lever

24、 position “D“ with the air conditioning on until an engine coolant temperature of = +9O“C and a transmission oil sump temperature of (+80 to +120)“C is reached. Then the vehicle speed shall be increased to Vmax and temperature recorder shall be started. Then shall be driven at top speed until the oi

25、l sump and converter output tempera- ture of the transmission has stabilized for about 10 min. The test shall be discontinued if a tem- perature of +I 55C is reached in the oil sump, or if oil spillage from the vent valve occurs. 4.1 .I .7 Weitere TemperaturrneRstellen. Werden nach Bedarf an externe

26、n Bauteilen (z. B. Whlhe- belgestnge, Kabelbaum usw.) angebracht. 4.1.2 Kalibrierung. Vor Testbeginn werden alle Thermoelemente geeicht. Die Eichung erfolgt unter Verwendung des Schreibers und der Ausgleichsleitungen, die auch nachher im Fahrzeug benutzt werden. 4.2 Bedingungen. 4.2.1 Umgebungsbedin

27、gungen. Zur Beurteilung der Getriebe-Oltemperaturen und des Olauswur- fes aus dem Entlfter ist es erforderlich, da wh- rend des Prfverfahrens die Umgebungstempera- turen 1 +30“C betragen. 4.2.2 Prfbedingungen. Abweichungen von den Bedingungen dieser Test Procedure mssen ver- einbart werden. Diese Be

28、dingungen sind auf Tei- lezeichnungen vorgeschrieben bzw. mssen auf Prfzeugnissen, Berichten u. dergl. angegeben werden. 4.2.3 Fahrbahn. Das Prfverfahren ist auf einer ebenen, trockenen Fahrbahn durchzufhren. 4.2.4 Getriebel. Das getestete Getriebel muB folgende Anforderungen erfllen: C)isorte wie P

29、roduktions-Neubefllung. Altl mit einer Laufstrecke im StraBen- oder Rundbahn-Dauerlauf entsprechend den im Service geforderten Olwechsel-Intervallen. Ist kein Olwechsel im Service vorgesehen, betrgt die geforderte Laufstrecke des Oles 100.000 km. 4.3 Prfanleitung. 4.3.1 Das Fahrzeug wird in Whlhebel

30、stellung “D“ und mit eingeschalteter Klimaanlage betriebs- warm gefahren (Motortemperatur ri. +9OoC, Ge- triebe-Olsumpftem-peratur (+80 bis +12O)“C). Danach wird die Fahrzeuggeschwindigkeit auf Vmax gesteigert und der Temperaturschreiber eingeschaltet. Anschlieend wird so lange mit Vollast Hchstgesc

31、hwindigkeit gefahren, bis sich die Olsumpf- und Wandler-Ausgangstemperatur des Getriebes fr = 10 min stabilisiert hat. Subsequently the vehicle shall be stopped from this speed at max. deceleration rate, how- ever, without wheel lockup. Immediatel

33、y after the vehicle has come to a standstill, a kick down start shall be performed accelerated to 100 km/h and continued at this speed for about 2 km to allow the brakes to cool down. This cycle 10 times shall be consecutively repeated. The top speed cycle and stops on the temperature shall be recor

34、ded. If the test is performed on the Dudenhofen Prov- ing Ground, brake stops shall be performed on the brake pads of the circular track. 4.3.3 After the last brake stop, check oil collecting bottle. 4.3.4 If there is no oil in the collecting bottle, the vehicle shall be accelerated again to top spe

35、ed in selector lever position “D“ and driven top speed at WOT until the transmission sump and converter output temperatures have stabilized for about 5 min. Then shall be immediately went to the skid pad. 4.3.5 On the skid pad, the following driving ma- noeuvres shall be performed in the specified o

36、rder in succession: 4.3.5.1 From a standing start, in lever position “D“ a kick down acceleration shall be performed to 35 km/h. Two clockwise circles shall be driven with a radius which is so small that the vehicle does not swerve at a constant speed of 35km/h. Then a max. deceleration braking mano

37、euvre to a full stop shall be made. 4.3.5.2 Repeat 3.3.5.1, however, in selector lever position “1“. 4.3.5.3 Repeat 3.3.5.1, however, counterclock- wise and in selector lever position “R“. 4.3.5.4 Repeat 3.3.5.1, however, counterclock- wise. 4.3.5.5 Repeat 3.3.5.1, however, counterclock- wise and in

38、 selector lever position “i“. 4.3.5.6 Repeat 3.3.5.1, however, clockwise and in selector lever position “R“. 4.3.5.7 The beginning and the end of the skid pad test phase shall be marked on the temperature record. The collecting bottle on the vent valve shall be checked. At the end of the test the te

39、m- perature recorder shall be shut off. 4.3.2 Die Fahrgeschwindigkeit wird auf 1 O0 km/h reduziert. Anschlieend wird aus dieser Ge- schwindigkeit das Fahrzeug bis zum Stillstand mit max. Verzgerung, aber ohne blockierende R- der, abgebremst. Nach Fahrzeug-Stillstand wird sofort mit Kick-Down bis auf

40、 100 km/h beschleu- nigt und = 2 km mit dieser Geschwindigkeit gefah- ren. Dieser Vorgang ist 10 x hintereinander zu wiederholen. Hchstgeschwindigkeitsfahrt und Bremsvorgnge sind auf dem Temperaturschrieb zu markieren. Wird das Prfverfahren auf dem Prffeld Duden- hofen durchgefhrt, sind die Bremsvor

41、gnge auf den Bremsstopps der Rundbahn zu absolvieren. 4.3.3 Nach der letzten Bremsung ist der Olauf- fangbehlter kurz zu kontrollieren. 4.3.4 Wenn sich kein Oi im Auffangbehlter befin- det, wird das Fahrzeug wieder in Whlhebelstel- lung ID“ auf Hchstgeschwindigkeit beschleunigt und so lange mit Voll

42、ast Htichstgeschwindigkeit gefahren, bis sich die Olsumpf- und Wandler- Ausgangstemperatur des Getriebes fr = 5 min stabilisiert hat. Danach wird sofort mit dem Fahr- zeug auf eine Kreisbahn (Skid-Pad) gefahren. 4.3.5 Auf dem Skid-Pad sind dann in der nachste- henden Reihenfolge hintereinander folge

43、nde Fahrrnanver durchzufhren: 4.3.5.1 Aus dem Stillstand heraus ist in “D“ mit Kick-Down zu beschleunigen, bis 35 kmlh erreicht sind. Dann sind 2 Runden im Uhrzeigersinn mit 35 kmlh konstant in einem so engen Radius zu fah- ren, da das Fahrzeug gerade noch nicht aus- bricht. Danach erfolgt eine Voll

47、ire- ments are fulfilled, if: 5.2.1 The transmission oil sump temperature does not exceed +150C. 5.2.2 The converter output temperature does not exceed +160C. 5.2.3 Oil does not leak from any point of the transmission. 5.2.4 No part in or on the transmission is dam- aged or malfunctioning because of

48、 the thermal load. Parts on the transmission are such things as selector lever, wiring harness, bowden cables, control units, etc. For defined car types (e. g. for export to hot coun- tries) ambient temperatures +30C could be required. 5.3 Test Documentation. With reference to this test procedure th

49、e test shall be documented in a report, containing the following information: 5.3.1 Vehicle Data. Type, engine, underhood shield y/n, axle ratio, tire size, odometer reading. 5.3.2 Radiator Data. Oil cooler, radiator, fan clutch, fan drive (designation and assembly num- ber). 5.3.3 Transmission Data. Transmission calibra- tion data, control unit specification, transmission type, transmission number, converter, oil level, oil specification (grade and running distance). 5.3.4 Rest Result 5.3.
