3、P GMI 2 11/95 GM INTERNATIONAL ENGINEERING STANDARD GMI L-IC-I I Introduction 1.1 Purpose Investigation of the strength of the passenger com- partment roof of motor vehicles. 1.2 Foreword The idea of the test is to reduce the loading of occupants due to intrusion of the roof into the pas- senger com

4、partment in rollover accidents. All values given in this test procedure were valid at the date of issue. For the actual values refer to the newest edition of the standard mentioned in para- graph 1.5.2. 1.3 Applicability This test procedure applies to passenger cars, mul- tipurpose passenger cars, t

5、rucks and buses with a GVWR of I 6000 Ib. (2 2722 kg; restrictions see standard). It serves for product validation with reference to vehicle safety. 1.4 Definitions See standard. I .5 References 1.5.1 Order of Precedence This test is essentially based upon the regulation mentioned in paragraph 1.5.2

6、, in this test procedure referred to in short as “standard“. In the event of a conflict between the text of the test procedure and the documents cited herein, the text of the test procedure takes precedence. Nothing in the test procedure, however, supersedes applicable laws and regulations unless a

7、specific exemption has been obtained. Remark: In the event of a conflict between the English and the domestic language, the English language shall take precedence. 1 Einleitung 1.1 Zweck berprfung der Festigkeit und Steifigkeit eines Fahrzeugdaches. 1.2 Vorwort Hintergrund des Prfverfahrens ist, zu

8、hohe Bela- stungen der Insassen durch das Eindringen der Dachstruktur in das Fahzeuginnere bei berschla- gen zu vermeiden. Alle in diesem Prfverfahren angegebenen Werte gelten zum Zeitpunkt der Erstellung. Die aktuellen Werte sind der neuesten Ausgabe der unter Ab- schnitt 1.5.2 genannten Regelung z

9、u entnehmen. I .3 Anwendbarkeit Das vorliegende Prfverfahren gilt fr Personen- kraftwagen, Mehrzweckpersonenkraftwagen, Last- kraftwagen und Busse mit einem zulssigen Ge- samtgewicht 6000 lb. (= 2722 kg; Ausnahmen siehe Richtlinie). Es dient der Produktvalidierung in Bezug auf Fahrzeugsicherheit. I

Im Falle eines Widerspruchs vom Text dieses Prf- Verfahrens und den

The facilities and equipment listed below guarantee a test conduction in accordance with the require- ments stated in the standard and al

18、ie und deren Anhngen definiert. Es ist der dot? beschriebene oder ein nachweislich gleichwertiger Versuchsaufbau einzu- setzen. Die nachfolgend aufgefhrten Einrichtungen und Ausrstungen gewhrleisten eine Testdurchfhrung gem den Forderungen in der Richtlinie und er- lauben eine umfassendere Versuchsa

19、uswertung entsprechend dem heutigen Stand der Technik. Sie sind nicht Vorschrift und knnen je nach GMIO- Partner unterschiedlich sein, Fr GMHA gilt: Testausrstung und -ausfhrung nach ETP02.451 ENG041. 2.1 Einrichtung Hydraulische Einzylinder-Zug-IDruckanlage inkl. Aufspannplatte und Neigungsverstell

21、 film shots as required. 2.2.4 Lighting equipment to take film shots as required. 2.3 Test VehiclelTest Piece Bodyshell with doors and windshield. 3 Procedure 3.1 Preparation The vehicle bodyshell shall be fixed to the horizontal mounting plate of the test facility in accordance with the valid stand

22、ards. Respect the required alignment positions. 3.2 Conditions The state of the test vehicle is laid down in the standard. All windows and all doors shall be closed. Any convertible top or removable roof structure in the closed position shall be secured. 3.2.1 Deviations Deviations from this test pr

23、ocedure shall have been agreed upon. 25、er horizontalen Aufspannplatte an der Testanlage gem der glti- gen Richtlinie aufzubauen. Dabei ist auf die Ein- haltung der vorgeschriebenen Ausrichtpositionen zu achten. 3.2 Prfbedingungen Der Zustand des Testfahrzeuges ist in der Richtlinie festgelegt. Alle Fenster und Tren sind zu schlieen. Die

26、Tren sind zustzlich zu verriegeln. Aufklappbare Verdecke bzw. Schiebedacher sind zu sichern. 3.2.1 Abweichungen Abweichungen von den Bedingungen dieses Prf- Verfahrens mssen vereinbart werden. Diese Ab- weichungen sind auf Teilzeichnungen vorgeschrie- ben bzw. mssen in Prfzeugnissen, Berichten u. dg

27、l. angegeben werden. 3.2.1.1 Gilt nur fr GMHA Abweichungen nach ETP02.451 ENGO41. A deformation distance of 5 i

28、n. max. (= 127 mm) shall be traveled at a velocity of 0.5 in./s max. (= 12.7 mm/s). The crush resistance of the roof shall be measured. The test procedure shall be completed within 120 s. The test may be conducted pursuant to specific test descrip- tions of the various GMIO partners. For North Ameri

29、ca the following test specification is valid: GMUTS L-1 C3-216G 3.4 Data 3.4.1 Target 3.4.1.1 Passenger cars The crush resistance of the passenger compartment roof shall be equivalent to a force equal to 1.5 times the unloaded vehicle weight or 5000 Ib., (= 2268 kg) whichever is less. 3.4.1.2 Multip

30、urpose passenger vehicles, trucks, buses (GWVR I 6000 Ib. = 2722 kg) The crush resistance of the passenger compartment roof shall be equivalent to a force equal to 1.5 times the unloaded vehicle weight. 3.4.2 Evaluation The distance of deformation and the crush resis- tance of the roof shall be meas

31、ured. The measured data shall be evaluated and saved. A diagram F = f(s) shall be printed out. The further evaluation shall be performed visually and by film shots, if available. 3.4.3 Presentation The data presentation shall be in accordance with the standard. With reference to this test method the

32、 results shall be presented in a test report. 4 Coding System This test procedure shall be called up in other documents, drawings, VTS, CTS etc. as follows: Example: “Test to GMI L-1 C-1“ 3.3 Prfanleitung Zu Beginn des Prfverfahrens mu ein metechni- scher Abgleich erfolgen. Es wird ein Verformungs-

33、weg von 127 mm max. (= 5 in.) mit einer Ge- schwindigkeit von 12,7 mm/s max.(z 0,5 in./s) ge- fahren. Der Verformungswiderstand des Daches wird dabei gemessen. Die Testdurchfhrung mu innerhalb von 120s beendet sein. Der Test kann z. B. gem spezifischer Testbeschreibungen der GMIO-Partner ausgefhrt w

34、erden. Fr Nordamerika gilt folgende Testsperifikation: GMUTS L-1C3-216G 3.4 Ergebnisse 3.4.1 Forderung 3.4.1.1 Pkws Der Verformungswiderstand des Fahrzeugdaches mu dem 1.5-fachen des Fahrzeugleergewichtes entsprechen, hchstens aber 5000 Ib. (.- 2268 kg). 3.4.1.2 Mehrzweck-Pkws, Lkws und Busse (zulss

35、i- ges Gesamtgewicht I 6000 Ib. = 2722 kg) Der Verformungswiderstand des Fahrzeugdaches mu dem 1,5-fachen des Fahrzeugleergewichtes entsprechen . 3.4.2 Auswertung Der Verformungsweg und der Verformungswider- stand werden gemessen, Die Medaten werden ausgewertet, gespeichert und ausgedruckt als Dia-

36、gramm F = f(s) ausgedruckt. Die weitere Auswer- tung erfolgt visuell btw. anhand von Filmauf- nahmen, falls verfgbar. 3.4.3 Darstellung Die Ergebnisse sind entsprechend den Forderungen in der Richtlinie in einem Prfbericht unter Hinweis auf dieses Prfverfahren darzustellen. 4 Angabe in Dokumenten Di
