SCOPE This specification defines a Multilayered Tubing with a conductive inner layer. The construction has low permeation rates and good res
3、istance to reformulated and flexible (methyl and ethyl alcohols) fuels. 2. APPLICATION This specification was released originally for flexible fuel lines requiring low permeation and electrical conductivity. The max working pressure should not exceed 690 kPa. Long term continuous operating temperatu
4、re should not exceed 90 C and max intermittent temperature should not exceed 115 C. These lines will meet the requirements of the U.S. market for both reformulated fuels and flexible (methyl and ethyl alcohols) fuels. 3. REQUIREMENTS 3.0 STANDARD REQUIREMENTS FOR PRODUCTION MATERIALS Material suppli
5、ers and part producers must conform to the Companys Standard Requirements For Production Materials (WSS-M99P1111-A). 3.4 PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS 3.4.1 Room Temperature Burst, min 5520 kPa (SAE J2260, para 7.1) 3.4.2 High Temperature Burst, min 2070 kPa (SAE J2260, para 7.2, 90 C) 3.4.3 Heat Aged (I
6、SO 188/ASTM D 573, 150 +/- 50 air changes/h, 168 h at 115 +/- 2 C) After heat aging determine burst strength (SAE J2260, para 7.1). Acceptance Criteria: 4140 kPa minimum burst pressure. Check for delamination (SAE J2260 para 7.11.2). Acceptance Criteria: No loss of adhesion. 3.4.4 Heat Aged (ISO 188
