SCOPE The material defined by this specification is a Prism Lite pattern, knit fabric, flame laminated to flame bondable polyether urethane foam. 2. APPLICATION This specificatio
3、n was released originally for material used as cover material for headliners, moon or sun roof and roller shades. Any other applications must be evaluated and approved by the responsible Materials Engineering activity. 3. REQUIREMENTS 3.1 APPROVED SOURCES This specification requires the use of appro
4、ved sources. Only the sources identified on the Ford Approved Source List (ASL) can be used when this specification is listed on the drawing, CAD file, or other documents. The list of approved sources is located within Ford at or available externally through a Ford Materials Engineer. For all test
5、methods, no individual specimen shall fall below the minimum values specified herein. 3.2 Materials manufactured to this specification may also need to meet the following applicable Specifications: Headlining Formed Performance: WSS-M15P27-G/latest Roof Systems Fabric Performance: WSS-M8P27-A1/lates
6、t Roller Shade Material: WSS-M5H34-B1/latest Flexible Foam Performance: WSS-M99P48-A2/latest 3.3 VEHICLE INTERIOR ENVIRONMENTAL PERFORMANCE Materials used in interior applications must meet the requirements outlined in WSS-M99P2222-D1/latest, Performance, Vehicle Interior Environmental Quality Mater
7、ial/Component Requirements. Data must be included in material submission package. 3.4 CONDITIONING AND TEST CONDITIONS All test values are based on material conditioned for not less than 24 h prior to testing in a controlled environment of 23 +/- 2 C and 50 +/- 5% relative humidity. Testing of the m
8、aterial should occur in the conditioning environment or soon after removal. 3.5 APPEARANCE The color, pattern, and finish shall match the approved Corporate Design master sample. 3.6 ROLL GOODS QUALITY ENGINEERING MATERIAL SPECIFICATION WSS-M5H37-A Copyright 2015, Ford Global Technologies, LLC Page
9、2 of 3 The laminate shall be uniformly bonded, and the fabric shall not delaminate from the foam during shipping, handling or in-plant processing. 3.7 COMPOSITION (ASTM D276) Fabric 100% Polyester Foam Polyether Polyurethane 3.8 FABRIC REQUIREMENTS The following shall be conducted on unbonded fabric
10、 3.7.1 Fabric count (ASTM D3887) Wales 125-145 wales/10 cm Courses 130-150 courses/10 cm 3.7.2 Weight (FLTM BN 106-01) Fabric face only 80 - 110 g/m2 3.9 FOAM The foam shall be polyether polyurethane. 3.8.1 Thickness As specified on Engineering Drawing 3.10 STRENGTH PROPERTIES 3.10.1 Breaking Streng
