SCOPE The material defined by this specification is a corrosion and heat resistant nickel base alloy, with temperature-electromotive force negat
3、ive relation to nearly all other metals and alloys. 2. APPLICATION This specification was released originally for material used to connect thermocouples to wire assemblies in cooler areas of a vehicle without a loss of accuracy across the thermal gradient. 3. REQUIREMENTS 3.0 STANDARD REQUIREMENTS F
4、OR PRODUCTION MATERIALS Material suppliers and part producers must conform to the Companys Standard Requirements For Production Materials (WSS-M99P1111-A). 3.4 CONSTRUCTION 3.4.1 Conductor The conductor shall be seven #28 gage solid wires combined to make #20 gage cable. Cable-to-cable butt welds sh
5、all not be allowed. The maximum lay length shall be 25 mm. The conductor shall conform to para 3.4.1.1 - 3.4.1.7 of this specification. 3.4.1.1 Chemical Composition (ASTM E 32) Carbon 0.05% max Silicon 2.25 - 2.75% Cobalt 0.90 - 2.00%Copper 1.75 - 3.00% Nickel Balance 3.4.1.2 Tensile Strength 417 -
