2、 MASS BACKED 1. SCOPE The materials defined by these specifications are flat felt needled, nonwoven carpets of good quality and uniform composition used for moldable applications. The carpet face is made with 100% post industrial and post consumer fibers. The PE and mass backing is utilized for NVH

3、properties and moldability. 2. APPLICATION This specification was released originally for molded Explorer trunk bin liners. 3. REQUIREMENTS 3.1 STANDARD REQUIREMENTS FOR PRODUCTION MATERIALS Material suppliers and part producers must conform to the Companys Standard Requirements For Production Mater

4、ials (WSS-M99P1111-A). 3.1.1 In addition to the requirements listed herein, the end-item floor carpet shall be tested to WSS-M15P32-D and any additional SDS requirements. The details for each of the suppliers specific construction shall be documented in the supplement attached and held in the scanne

5、d data package. 3.1.2 Vehicle Interior Environment Quality Materials/Component Performance Requirements Materials used in interior applications must meet the requirements outlined in WSS-M99P2222-D1/ latest. Test data must be provided by the Tier 1 at the appropriate program milestone. 3.1.3 Recycle

6、d Content This specification must contain 100% recycled content as defined by WRS- M99P42-A2 (Textile Materials, Identification of Recycled Content). 3.2 SAMPLE SELECTION All evaluations shall be conducted on test specimens taken from finished roll goods prior to any subsequent operations, such as r
