3、sed for initial qualification of materials.3.0 STANDARD REQUIREMENTS FOR PRODUCTION MATERIALS Material suppliers and part producers must conform to the Companys Standard Requirements For Production Materials (WSS-M99P1111-A). 3.3 VISCOSITY (ASTM D 2393, #7 spindle at 20 RPM) At 25 +/- 1 C 8,000 - 12

(2) Equilibrate for 24 h at 25 +/- 1 C. (3) Insert spindle #7. (4) Turn on viscometer for 60 at 2 RPM. Record viscosity wit

7、overy: The 2 RPM viscosity measured at step #7 divided by the viscosity measured at step #4 x 100. 3.6 SPEED OF CURE, max 15 s This test is performed using either flat, clean steel coupons or glass microscope slides of 25 mm width. (A) Place 0.36 mm drop on one slide. Let the solvent flash off for 2

8、0 - 30 s. (B) Press the two slides together with strong finger pressure (the adhesive will spread out to approximately 645 mm2. (C) Place directly over and in contact with a 2 bulb, 8 watt blue ultraviolet lamp such as the PC-1 available from the Dymax Corporation. (D) Carefully and gently test the

9、ends of the slides for movement every 5 seconds. Record the time when there is resistance to movement. 3.7 TENSILE STRENGTH, min 14 kPa (ASTM D 1002) ASTM D 1002 Tensile Test (A) Scribe 12.7 mm overlap marks on ASTM D 1002 steel test coupons. (B) Apply activator to one steel coupon. (C) Apply a 1.6

10、mm bead across the middle of the bond area on the mating steel coupon. (D) Assemble and clamp with a 90 N spring clamp for 24 h. 11、 Global Technologies, Inc. 3.8 TENSILE STRENGTH, min 10.5 kPa (ASTM D 1002 after thermal shock) Cold rolled steel test coupons are prepared per ASTM D 1002. After a 24 h 24 C cure they are subjected to the following thermal shock cycle: (A) 1 h at 150 C. (B) Immediately drop into ice water. Allow to cool for 10 minutes. (C) Immediately repeat (A) and (B) for a total of 3 cycles. (D) Allow to warm up to 24 C and test for tensile strength on a standard tensile tester at 12.7 mm per minutes.
