2、below. It is the hose manufacturers responsibility to keep complete records against this date code showing date of manufacture of hose materials and test results. Markings shall not be soluble in water, Type “E“ automatic transmission fluid, or power steering fluid. These markings shall appear on th

3、e outer cover of the hose in contrasting color, at intervals of not greater than 250 mm. Each coupled hose assembly shall have a date of coupling (5 digit or 4 digit as shown below), the Ford Motor Company part number, and the coupling manufacturers identification mark stamped on either end fitting or the center connection. Additional manufacturers markings on the hose and/or coupling for more positive control is permissible.
