The present document is part 1 of a multi-part deliverable covering the Subscriber Identity Module to Mobile Equipment (SIM-ME) interface, as identified below: TS 100 812-1: “Universal Integrated Circuit Card (UICC); Physical and logical characteristics“; TS 100 812-2: “Universal Integrated Ci

NOTE: Part 3 was originally published as EN 300 812 and defines different technology than part 1 and part 2. Introduction The present document

14、 defines a generic terminal/Integrated Circuit Card (ICC) interface. The present document is independent of the TETRA application and can thus be the platform for any IC card application. The aim of the present document is to ensure interoperability between an ICC and a terminal independently of the

15、 respective manufacturer, card issuer or operator. The present document does not define any aspects related to the administrative management phase of the ICC. Any internal technical realization of either the ICC or the terminal is only specified where these are reflected over the interface. Applicat

16、ion specific details for applications residing on an ICC are specified in the respective application specific documents. ETSI ETSI TS 100 812-1 V2.2.5 (2003-10) 5 1 Scope The present document specifies the interface between the UICC and the terminal. The present document specifies: the requirements

17、for the physical characteristics of the UICC; the electrical interface between the UICC and the terminal; the initial communication establishment and the transport protocols; the model which serves as a basis for the logical structure of the UICC; the communication commands and the procedures; the a

18、pplication independent files and protocols.
