17、 United Kingdom 2 EN 3475-801 :2002 (E) 1 Scope This standard specifies a method for measuring the capacitance per unit length of a cable. It shall be used together with EN 3475-100. 2 Normative references This European Standard incorporates by dated or undated reference provisions from other public

18、ations. These normative references are cited at the appropriate places in the text and the publications are listed hereafter. For dated references, subsequent amendments to or revisions of any of these publications apply to this European Standard only when incorporated in it by amendment or revision

EN 3475-100 Aerospace series - Cables, electrical, aircraft use - Test methods - Part 100: General 3 Preparation of specimens These shall be stripped and prepared so as to give the measurements between the different

20、points specified in 4. 4 Method Capacitance per unit length shall be measured on a sample of a length of one metre or more, at a frequency between 800 Hz and 1 O00 Hz, to an accuracy of I 1 %. 4.1 Coaxial structure The capacitance shall be measured between the inner and outer conductors. 4.2 Unscree

21、ned pair The capacitance shall be measured between the two conductors. 3 EN 3475-801 :2002 (E) 4.3 Screened pair Perform the following measurements: Ca : Capacitance between element 1 and element 2 connected to screening _ _ _ _ _ _ - cb : Capacitance between element 2 and element 1 connected to scr

22、eening Cc : Capacitance between element 1 and element 2 joined and screening _-_ These capacitances shall be expressed in picofarads. The effective capacitance per unit length of the pair, expressed in picofarads per metre, is obtained from the form u la: where L is the length of the sample expresse

23、d in metres. 4.4 If the pairs are individually screened, the method described in 4.1 shall be used for each pair. If the pairs have no individual screening, the method in 4.3 shall be used, connecting to the screening all wires not belonging to the pair being tested. Case of a multipair cable 5 Req
